Kari is an amazing vet and has such a good perspective. She is great at helping take in the whole picture of life and how your pet is apart of it. She is wonderful at supporting you to make appropriate decisions for your pets that work within your life. Also, David is a pleasure to talk with and so helpful!

Dr Allen is truly to most caring and friendly vet around. Her staff is fantastic as well. Going to the vet is never fun for anyone, but she does her best to make both you and your furry family feel at ease. She’ll do everything on the floor with your pup if your pup is too nervous to be on the table. That’s just one of the many things she does. We’ve been going to her for years and honestly can’t imagine going any where else. Even after we moved about an hour away we still go back to her.

She is a truly wonderful vet who takes the time to thoroughly understand any issue and makes sure I leave each visit feeling educated and confident about how to best care for my pet. I’ve been bringing my pets to her for the past eight years, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. Dr. Allen is the best. Our dog has been under her exceptional care for about 10 years now. She’s helped us through heart worm treatment, horrible allergies, chronic respiratory/sinus issues and lots of dentals. Dr. Allen has a very good approach to solving issues and is not an alarmist - she tries to do the least invasive and disruptive routes first, which I so appreciate. Additionally, she is a kind, warm and compassionate person who truly cares about the well-being of our dog. We couldn’t be happier and I shouldn’t have waited 10 years to write a review!

We really wanted to love this place. My small dog ( 25 pounds ) gets extremely scared when it comes to nail trims. When I got to know that they do nail trims outside and I get to hold my dog while a nail trim was great I was all for it. Fast forward, while they were really cool and nice, this is the result of one of the nails that was cut. My dog yelped while the back nails were getting cut, and I stopped the service right then and there. Because all the nails weren’t trimmed, I was charged accordingly which was nice, but I’d have rather paid more and have my dog not hurt. The place has amazing reviews, I’m not sure how they are with everything else but Hazel definitely ended up hurt.

BEST veterinary care!! We have been taking our labrador to Dr. Allen for 4 years. She is so thoughtful, conscientious, and warm - an amazing doctor and an amazing person! We highly recommend Annotto Bay Vet clinic.
