Indianapolis Animal Urgent Care

We had one of the worst days of our life here on Sunday, March 8th. We had to very suddenly make the gut wrenching decision to say goodbye to our sweet boy Spookley. Despite the profound pain of losing him, I have only positive things to say about the staff here. As soon as we arrived, Nick took us back and immediately treated Spookley like he was his own. Dr. Kulish answered every single one of our concerns with grace and compassion. She reassured us multiple times that we were making the right choice by euthanizing, and that there was nothing else we could have done. It was just a horrible, rapid deterioration of our baby’s health. When the time came, Courtney brought us our boy. We were able to have a few moments with our boy and we got to hold him and kiss him during the entire euthanasia process. Nick treated the experience with so much love and care. He explained everything thoroughly and assured us Spookley wouldn’t feel any pain. We were sent home with his fluff, paw prints, and nose prints. It was a traumatizing day, but they made it as easy as they possibly could have. I am so thankful for Nick, Dr. Kulish, and Courtney for the compassion they extended to us during a terribly painful time. Rest in peace, sweet Spookley boy.

We had several visits here, and every experience reminded us how caring and dedicated this team is. They were always helpful, accommodating, and truly gentle with our sweet Meeko. Dr. Potts is the best, she is thoughtful, thorough, and incredibly compassionate. Dr. Ryan was also wonderful during our very first visit, and her kindness and professionalism are a big part of why we returned when we needed help again. Christina and Kali were always so loving with our baby, especially on the days he had to be hospitalized. They were patient and kind every time we called to check on him, giving us updates and reassurance when we needed it most. When we ultimately had to say goodbye to Meeko, they walked us through every option with so much empathy, never rushing us, and answering our questions, even when we had to ask the same ones again while trying to process the heartbreaking news. Their compassion meant more than we can express, and we’re deeply grateful for the way they supported us and cared for Meeko through every step. Thank you!

There truly aren’t enough words to express my gratitude for the incredible team at IAUC. From the minute you walk in the door, you are treated with kindness, respect, and professionalism. I have been to MANY clinics and spent countless hours at them, and IAUC is by far the best. This clinic is the perfect place to bring those urgent care needs for our dogs without having to visit an er. Our primary vet can’t always get us in at a moments notice for things that sometimes just can’t wait, and that is when we use IAUC. Our dogs (and foster dogs) receive the best care possible at a price we can afford. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful clinic with staff who truly care and clearly love their jobs. Thank you IAUC!!

I have brought my cat Emerson here for multiple visits (she enjoys string waay too much) and each time Dr. Kulish and her team have gone above and beyond to help her. Care is always exceptional, fast, and thorough, and staff (i.e. Brenda and Christina) is kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. LOVE that they're open late, too. Really cannot recommend this place enough for anyone who needs their little ones looked at. Thank you Dr. Kulish and everyone for taking such good care of my girl!!

Wonderful staff! Brought my cat (Char) here due to an open neck wound, possibly infected skin cyst. Staff were attentive, great communication, kept me updated, and transparent on pricing. Dr. Jacky Kulish was our vet, and was fantastic! She sedated Char and excised the area. Char is healing well. We are thankful for such great staff to take care of the issue promptly and with great care.

I have visited IAUC several times, and they are wonderful. I truly trust them to be honest and open with you about your pet. My cat got very sick over Thanksgiving, and Dr. Potts suggested we try FIP treatment. She saved his life, after his primary vet dismissed his fever as a virus that would resolve on its own, getting him a novel treatment for a disease that many vets are not aware of/still see as a death sentence. I am so grateful for everyone at IUAC, and particularly Dr. Potts, that I still have my silly little guy (who just celebrated his first birthday as well!).

I cannot recommend this urgent care enough! Every single staff member was so kind, compassionate, and patient. My dog is a little bit of a stinker, which requires a little extra care and attention when in a clinical setting. Every staff member was so considerate and put his comfort in mind. I absolutely love the exam rooms, there is a TV either playing the weather or Bob Ross (absolutely love) and there is a button to press when you need assistance. This facility is so CLEAN! I had to help guide my little stinker in the back towards the x-ray, so I got a sneak peek of their equipment, tables, etc. and it looked squeaky clean and smelled squeaky clean too! This to me was such a great sign that every staff member takes cleanliness seriously, which I very much appreciated. Dr Potts was wonderful, she was so kind and compassionate, and she did fantastic with Colt! I saw them two days in a row, and each time they delivered top-tier medical care and kindness. Each staff member seemed like they really enjoyed being there, which is wonderful! I will only go to this urgent care for any of my urgent needs, while I hope I won't have to visit often or any time soon (no offense), I feel so much comfort knowing I have them I can always count for great care.
