We took our family cats here when I was growing up and I continue to take my cats and my dog to Animal Care Clinic. Over the years, they have done a fantastic job treating a variety of minor and serious health issues for my pets. The whole team at the clinic is always kind and caring and the prices are reasonable. Dr. Rawls and Dr. Anderson are the very best veterinarians out there!
My dog Loula unfortunately passed away last Friday and while I wasn’t able to be at the vet with her, my mom said that everyone was very kind to her. We also just received a letter in the mail from the vet and it was the sweetest thing ever. ❤️ We have used this vet many times over the years and haven’t ever felt like our animals were mistreated or unwelcome
Four of my fur kids have received dentals from here and I will only be taking my babies here from now on. They are extremely sweet and I can tell they truly care! I have been to several other vet clinics in Huntsville since moving here and this one by far is the best. Thank yall so much for loving and taking care of my babies! We truly appreciate everything yall do!
I have two Dobermans. One of our babies need a ACL replacement. The staff here is so kind and attentive. The doctors are concerned and not money driven. I always feel safe and well informed. It’s nice to take my pets to a place that ACTUALLY cares about their work and the families they serve!
I've taken my dog here for the last year after 10 years of going somewhere else. One thing great this vet clinic is that they are walk in and available on Saturday in the morning. At my old vet, I always had to have an appointment and call which is terrible for someone who hates to call people. And the appointments were all during normal work hours so that makes it hard to do it. But hey, these folks are available til 6 although if you want something really done you should be there by 515 or so. And Saturday mornings around 11, especially if there is a football game going on, is a great time to go usually. Because it is walk in, sometimes you get no wait, but sometimes you get a decent wait, but hey, that's understandable when you can just show up. As for the care and cost, it all seems very good and reasonable. I particularly recommend Dr Rawls. Finally, using them for boarding is nice and reasonable too. I will often get the bath at the end.
My dog would have died if it wasn’t for Dr. Anderson and his crew. I went to the emergency vet and they would not do the surgery until I could come up with $3500. I was able to get my dog over to the animal care clinic and they took him in immediately and did surgery without even discussing money. My dog is nine years old and I have had him since he was a puppy and he would be dead if it wasn’t for them! Thank you so much! Also, the surgery was well under the amount the emergency Clinic tried to get me to pay to even start the surgery. HIGHLY recommend! Thanks again! 🥹🥲
I took my dog here Tuesday morning as soon as they opened. My dog had labored breathing, couldn’t stand very well, was very warm to the touch, and coughing. He sent me home with dewormer because she had a previous case of worms. Hook worms form a few weeks prior. My dog did go to the ER ( for the same symptoms) the night before and they said that the left over meds from last night (12 hours prior) was the root of why she was wobbling around. I went home believing my dog was okay and it could have been another case of worms. Thankfully while I was at work my mother had found her in her home. She couldn’t get up. She could barely breathe. She was coughing constantly and was very warm. We took her back per his instructions if she had worsen through the day. He got back and more X-rays were taken. He told me there was nothing to be seen and she was normal per all her tests. Bloodwork, X-rays, and electrolytes. And there was nothing he could do besides keep her overnight, but no one would be there. What’s even the point? We realized that dr. Kevin Anderson’s 23 years of experience weren’t going to pan out in my dogs favor. We took her to flint river animal hospital and in 15 minutes she was diagnosed with pneumonia. It came to our attention that he had not even taken my dogs temperature. She was fine he said but she was running a fever of 103.5. After asking 3 times to send the X-rays over to the flint river they never did. We took additional X-rays there and it was clearly seen. I will never trust my dog’s life in their hands ever again.
