Paradise Animal Clinic

I never thought I’d be writing this after 11 years of loyalty, but my last visit to Paradise Animal Clinic was beyond disappointing. My dog has suffered from recurring UTIs for almost a decade. Dr. Pausa has always prescribed ciprofloxacin, so this condition is well documented. I simply asked if a refill could be added so I wouldn’t have to put my dog through a stressful 45-minute drive for something we already knew. Instead, I was forced to bring her in and then pressured into X-rays. I clearly said no and explained that the X-ray would tell us nothing new — yet I was still charged nearly $300. In the end, I walked out with the same medication I originally asked for. What really crossed the line was how my dog was treated during the X-ray attempt. The handling was rough, unnecessary, and completely uncalled for. Watching it happen was heartbreaking. After 11 years of trust, this experience felt like a cash grab rather than compassionate veterinary care. I won’t be returning and would urge long-time clients to think twice.

My dog was not doing well and we decided to take her to the vet. We took a chance and went to Paradise Animal Clinic. When we walked in we were greeted right away, I was asked if I had an appointment. I did not, they took us any way! that took me by surprised 😮 I waited 15 minutes and we were called. We were greeted by a nice young man who took down our info. He said stay here let me get the doctor, it didn't take long at all...about 10 minutes the doctor came in. To make a way to long story short...the doctor is super cool 😎 the staff are friendly, the clinic is spacious,clean and no smell. I found the price reasonable. I highly recommend this vet, so if your furry baby is sick give them a try and judge for yourself.

The experience, in general, was 50/100. It was my first time, and they didn't explain their process ( Unlike a regular clinic ), they didn't provide a tag or an invoice after my appointment. I had to stay on top of them to get everything. It is sad to have to leave a bad review when the doctor was amazing, but the reception is not good enough.

When our dog Max got diagnosed with diabetes this clinic was recommended to us. We were worried that they would be unreasonable with the prices and that the vet wouldn’t be in it for the right reasons. They are so kind and caring, they respond fast and are so involved into your pets life. Max recently passed due to his age and diagnosis but they were with us all the way to the end. The prices are very reasonable and now we got a new puppy and immediately took him here. They do all the necessary tests and reassured us of everything we needed to do and i am so happy! Thank you guys for being amazing always!

Paradise staff was absolutely amazing, quick and efficient. Honest and fairly priced. Hopefully I have no more incidents with my maniacal cat but if I do, I plan on taking them back to Paradise. Thank you guys!

We had to put my dog down due to no longer having quality of life. Every person at this animal clinic was absolutely amazing. They were so compassionate, accommodating and caring. Nothing will take away from the heartbreaking reality of having to put our pup down but they truly made it such a smooth and bittersweet experience. They let us take all the time we needed with him before and after and I’m so grateful for their care towards our pup and us. Definitely will be going to them with all our pet needs from here on out.

Please do not bring your pets to this place. My family brought their Dog here on what should have been a routine neuter for a small healthy male dog. After the procedure, the dog went home to recover. My family did everything above and beyond and followed instructions to make sure the dog would make a full quick recovery. When they saw the dog was not recovering as he should have been, they went back and raised concern at least 3 separate times saying something was not right and that their dog was not ok. The day before he passed away, they brought him into the clinic (mind you this was after bringing him in multiple times before raising concerns that something was wrong) and the doctor even made them feel like they were being dramatic and the dog was fine. They said he had a small infection, gave him a shot and sent them on their way home. Well, not even 24 hours after that, the dog passed away. This place is run like a business instead of a medical facility for animals where you take your pets and trust that they have their best interest and take their lives as serious as we do. They do not care about you or your pets. If you love your pets like we did, please do not bring them here. There was no reason for the dog to pass away if someone would have simply listened from the very first time they raised concerns that something was wrong. The heartbreak that they have gone through because of this is something I do not wish upon anyone. They knew their dog was not ok and no one here cared at all. I wouldn't trust these people for anything in the world. I hope my family is able to recover from the trauma and shock and I hope that this review stops you from having to go through a situation like this as well. Dont bring your pets here.
