I’ve been taking my sweet little Dachshund, Becky to Armistead Veterinary for her entire life of 16 years! My other Dachshund, Whitney, lived to be 18 years old under their care. I can’t think of a better and more professional Veterinary Clinic to go to. Not only are the Doctors Professional, caring, helpful and understanding, but their Staff is as well. I’ll never take my "Fur Baby " anywhere else! If you’re looking for a reputable vet for your pets… don’t hesitate to go to Armistead Veterinary Clinic!

I have five Pomeranian dogs—two adults and three under one year old—and all of them are cared for by Dr. Jones and her wonderful team. From the moment you walk through the door, you are made to feel welcome. The front desk staff are friendly, respectful, and kind, and the clinic is beautifully decorated in a festive way that truly captures the spirit of Christmas. Dr. Jones herself is warm, caring, passionate, and always has such a happy and fun personality. She immediately puts you at ease and makes you feel confident that your babies are in the very best hands. I am truly grateful and feel so blessed knowing my dogs receive the best possible care. Dr Jones is absolutely the best Doctor!! She is always kind, happy and upbeat. The animals love her! She is very knowledgeable, helpful and very caring. After 21 years of being my veterinarian to all my fur babies, I couldn’t imagine going to anyone else. The vet techs are great too. Front desk staff is nice and helpful. The staff was friendly and overall I was happy with their care. Leaving two stars because the commutation on extra lab testing was not given. I paid around $250 for extra labs and was not told to have the samples in by a certain date until I was already away on a trip. When I asked about getting them to the vet once I was back I was informed it would be a new charge and that what I paid already would not go to it. I did not appreciate the lack of instructions when I paid for the labs or the lack of a resolution.

We have been with Armistead for 14 years for our Cat and SibHusky. They have a stellar team, both at the vet and the boarding. We are so grateful for them. Special shot out to James at boarding who always made sure our Lava could be cleaned and clipped despite her fussing. And another special shot out to Dr.Jones who is nothing less than a pure animal whisperer. Lava took to her immediately - and pressed her head against Dr. Jones. The official head boop of trust and love. As Lava crossed the Rainbow Bridge this week the Armistead team was so patient, caring, compassionate, and we just couldn't have gotten through these 14 years without your care through the years. #We miss you so much Lava.

I have been a customer since 2004 and have always been pleased with the care and advice given. From the front desk staff, to the assistants, and all the doctors, I’m grateful to all of you. Dr. Jones has taken care of my babies for the last few years. She is always so upbeat, caring, knowledgeable, and professional. Zeke absolutely loves her! I highly recommend this practice!

Facilities need upgrading and I highly recommend calling to schedule an appointment vice using their online portal unless you enjoy handing out your information numerous times to numerous people. Veterinarian was nice and helpful with my questions, but not super thrilled with my overall experience. They didn’t give me a choice on what tests to run so I ended up paying out an additional $100 than I wanted to. It’s local which is nice but I may keep looking for the best care for my fur baby.
