Jumper aka Queen had her vet appt today. She had a full checkup. Shes healthy 💚 she got her nails done and she received 2 vaccines, that didnt make her very happy but she got over it quickly with treats and compliments on how pretty she is. This visit wasnt just a routine check up for us, our son Kayden rescued Jumper, we sadly lost Kayden at age 20 last November to gun violence. Jumper is an extension of Kaydens heartbeat and means everything to us. As we were checking out we had the best surprise that warmed our hearts so much.... our Milos obituary was displayed at the front desk. Dr Reyes took such good care of Milo and ensured his comfort to the end (2024) we always knew if we got another pet we would seek her out to care for our pet. As always we felt the compassion, love, and individual attention. Wonderful staff from the front desk, techs, and Dr. Thank you all so much. Highly recommend this team to care for your fur baby!!

This was the best animal hospital for my fur baby Chance. I had to unexpectedly euthanize him this past Tuesday and they were very kind. I always appreciated Dr. Klein and how she would talk about Chance. The last doctor I had for him (elsewhere) always had the most classist conversations how much care I could afford. I appreciated how I never felt 'less than' as a dog parent because I couldn't afford certain treatments. They understand that people are just doing the best they can, and if we could do more $$ we would do more for our fur babies. I really wish I would've had him here for the entirety of his life, but at least he got the best care in his final years at North Elm.

My dog had eaten something he should not have. They got me in very quickly , took great care of him and he came home later that day. The price was very reasonable. The vets are Great as well as the front desk. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Your vet saw my Pyrenees puppy when no one else would in Burlington. Spike was diagnosed with Parvo. He is 3 years old and healthy. They saved his life and my son’s life. Thank you. We will always bring Spike to you. You are all special and loving people!

North Elm Animal Hospital has cared for our many animals since its opening in 2000. We've always received excellent care and never had a bad experience. Angel Coates is our primary vet. She's smart, compassionate, and deeply experienced – an outstanding doctor. The entire team is great and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality veterinary care.

Best vet in the 'boro! I stumbled upon North Elm Animal Hospital when by dog broke her toe. I had just moved here and called a few places that didn't accept new patients for 4-6 weeks, others had outrageous prices. North Elm got me right in and their staff is so kind and amazing. If you are looking for a caring environment with affordable prices, look no further. All 3 of my dogs are now going here.

I brought my puppy in for a routine spay and initially thought everything was fine, but the experience quickly went downhill. After drop-off, I received unexpected calls asking for additional procedures that were never discussed beforehand, which felt confusing and inappropriate, especially while my pup was already in their care. Communication was poor, inconsistent, and at times unprofessional. When I tried to get clarity, I was met with dismissive and unfriendly responses from staff and the veterinarian, Dr. Lemyre. I lost confidence in their care due to the lack of transparency and the way concerns were handled. At pickup, the environment felt uncomfortable, and my request for an apology was brushed off by Dr. Lemyre. To make matters worse, I was falsely accused of behavior that never happened. It’s upsetting being falsely accused—based on apparent prejudice—of using profanity toward staff, which I was not true. Despite this, Dr. Lemyre never offered an apology and instead suggested I could just come in and anyone can evaluate my puppy’s surgical site in two weeks. Hindsight, she has been treating my puppy, and I can also have my records in to take my puppy elsewhere. Dr. Lemyre’s biased opinion was very blatant and apparent. Overall, I left feeling disrespected, misled, and extremely disappointed. After paying a significant amount, I expected much better communication, compassion, and professionalism. Meanwhile, my puppy has been whimpering in pain since we arrived home earlier this afternoon. I am searching for a place to take her for evaluation that will treat her tonight, but most importantly acknowledge that I am a human being. I would not recommend this practice.
