It took me awhile to write this review as I am still grieving, but I wanted to share my experience. For reference, this happened back in May of this year. My beloved dog started having health issues at the end of April, and after visiting a few other vet hospitals and not getting the answers I needed, I found this one. The staff here is amazing, and treated me and my dog with great care during a difficult time. After receiving confirmation that the best thing I could do was to humanely euthanize my dog, I broke down a few times and the staff was very understanding and comforting. My dog Boss was and is still very loved and very missed and we were blessed to have him the 13 years of his life. Dr. Salina’s is an amazing vet and her professionalism and compassion helped me through this difficult time. After we did a at home euthanasia for Boss, they sent me a sympathy card in the mail with notes from all the staff and it was truly appreciated. Even though this was a very sad experience for me and my family, I truly appreciate the compassion you showed me 💖💙 Including two of my favorite pics of my handsome boy, he is truly missed 💙💙

Hands down the best vets in town. When another vet left my dog in pain and untreated I, admittedly in desperation, brought her here. They were quick, communicative, clear and made sure I got her the help she needed. Got me two more years with her I wouldn’t have had. They were great with my cat and I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you all for the work you all did to help my Sophie’s cancer and in making sure she had a fighting chance.

Arlo got vaccinated at an outside clinic and woke up with a fever and a huge knot where he got the vaccines. They were very quick to get him in and made him and I very comfortable. Everyone in the office was friendly and explained things thoroughly. It was my first time visiting this vet clinic. I will be coming back.!

Edit: Reply to (owner) please reply with the number of the Corporate New York CEO that bought the place and I'll give them a call. I was unable to contact them or get their number when calling the Georgetown location. Please leave number to call below. If you don't want to spend $724 for year heartworm prevention meds for 2 dogs don't go there! They lied and stole $429.95 to write a script for heart worm prevention for 2 recued dogs then refuse to call in the script to Chewy trying to steal about $45 for 6 month $90 more for a full year. more selling in house. HEB was also $45 less for Advantage Multi+ $725 total just for yearly heart worm prevention meds. They were great before a huge corporation bought them out and the reputable vets left. Now just thieves who did a very crappy job, no yearly vaccines included in that price! Making the appointment they just said only annual office visit was needed, a couple years ago $44 each, now $69.99 each, once on the hook for $140 they stole $80.49 each for heartworm test that they wouldn't allow refusal on, plus another test not needed that they said was $27 but charged $129.99.

It’s been about 30 years since having a dog, but I love them with all my heart. I had been dog sitting for a close family friend the past few days and the dog was looking off. Unstable and unbalanced. I took her to the clinic and this team treated me and the dog I’m sitting for with respect and care. They told me what’s going on and then spoke to my friend on the phone giving them the same information. I appreciated all their help so much. I was there about two hours and they all took their time, even the doctor. I appreciated everyone there. If your pet isn’t feeling well and you’re in gtown. Take them there for the best care.

My dog has chronic ear infections. I previously went to Georgetown Veterinary Hospital and was charged over $350 and my dog's ear infection never got better. I asked them if I could come back and they wanted to charge me more money. This time I too him to Old Town Vet Hospital. Emily [technician] was so extremely nice and helpful. She told me about home ear flushes I can do with Jerry. Emily was also very thorough explaining to the doctor what was wrong. While I was there I found a tick on my dogs ear. Dr. Harding was able to remove the tick and gave me instructions of odd signs to look for if my dog was affected. Dr. Harding told me about allergies my dog may have that might be contributing to his ear infections that I had no idea of. She gave me several different options for allergy treatment. She also gave me ear drops and prednisone to help with Jerry severe ear infection. Dr. Harding spent a lot of time going over treatments to prevent these chronic ear infections. She also gave me options that were more cost effective. Savanna came in at the end and gave me the medications and checked us out. None of these steps and treatment were given to me at Georgetown Veterinary Hospital and was charged a lot more with no resolution for Jerry. I absolutely felt heard and that my dog was taken well care of by Old Town Vet Hospital. I truly believe the staff wanted to get to the root of the issue so these ear infections do not keep happening. I would rate the staff and Dr. Harding 5 stars.
