Gaston Veterinary Hospital & Carolina Cat Clinic

Recently took my fiancee 's dog in for an emergency check up. The staff was all very caring and courteous. They got us in quickly and the veterinarian was beyond helpful and do a thorough job checking him out. Even though it was devastating news and not what we wanted to hear, the compassion that the Vet and staff showed was stellar. We couldn't be more thankful for the grace Boozie was shown and us as we grieved.

the best vet experience I have ever had. no appointment needed, and even though I went in the late afternoon when it was busy I was still in and out within 1 hour. Every single person working here is incredible! you can really tell the vet and techs love the animals. I could overhear them in the back talking sweetly to the pets needing to stay overnight for monitoring. They did not try to "upsell" me at all and the prices were extremely reasonable! I absolutely recommend this vet office- best one in the area!

I love this animal hospital! I own 4 dogs - Pit Bull (10), German Shepherd Mix (5), Toy Aussies (2 and 3) - and have been going to this veterinarian since I moved to Gaston County 5 years ago. Each time we have visited this facility we have been greeted with a smile and cheerful demeanor from behind the desk no matter the chaos. It is clear this is a very popular spot for pet care needs, as it can get busy at times, but this team does a great job of moving through their line of clients while also giving intentional care and attention to each fur baby they see. My pups have boarded at this facility as well, and I do truly feel as though the team at Gaston Vet cares about the animals they treat as well as the owners. Thanks for all you do Dr. Pearman, Kalee, Josiah and plenty of other members of this care team who have treated my furbabies as their own!

I have been taking my fur baby to Gaston Vet Hospital since he was 12 weeks old; he is 12 years old now. Dr. Pearman is great and knows her stuff! Every visit I observed how she loves what she does and how she cares for him and me as a concerned pet owner that comes to her for medical attention. I can say she treats all fur babies as if they were her own. The staff is also caring and supportive. The girls at the front desk know the names of their patients that come on regular basis. Gaston Vet Hospital provides great service. I have been pleased with them for 12 years. I would recommend them to family and friends.

They were very nice and helpful. I was really worried about my cat and they were very accommodating and kind. My little boy went in very sad and in pain and he came out purring and rubbing against me. I could tell he felt so much better. The prices were also alot cheaper than I was expecting. I will definitely bring him or any of my other pets here if I have any problems.

We brought our angel baby here the last few months of his life, he seemed to like it here and they are very compassionate and caring they will tell you the good and the bad. We lost our baby a few weeks ago and they sent us a card in the mail to console us. This place is the nicest place ever even when they're slam busy. If we get another pet we'll be choosing here but as of right now we aren't ready for another pet, but when we do I'll be back, Thank Y'all for your awesome work and thank you for being so kind and caring when it comes to these babies. If your baby is going through the final stages of life they'll do what they can to make them comfortable, our baby wasn't able to walk and they still went above and beyond to see our baby

Dr pearman is the best vet ! I recommend her 100 out of 10! However the business itself lost my respect when they stopped approving prescriptions for chewy and petsmart pharmacy directly and started requiring us to mail in prescriptions which can take up to a month to get meds , simply because they want to push us to the practices online pharmacy or in vet pharmacy which is often twice the cost ! We have done this for years and suddenly they refuse to do it ! If not for our amazing vet and my trust in her i would have left to a new practice when they started that!
