I switched all of my dogs over to this vet office. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are a lot more affordable than the ones in Rowlett, and the staff handles every animal with proper care. I have extremely high energy and high drive dogs, and they handled them with no problems. They go above and beyond every time I visit.

We love this clinic. We’ve been bringing our dogs, Brownie and Smore, here since the summer, and every visit has reinforced how grateful we are to have found a place that treats our pets like family. Now that we’ve added a cat to our household, there was never any question about where she would go — this clinic has earned our trust completely. One of the things we appreciate most is the communication. The team is consistently clear, timely, and thoughtful, whether it’s a routine appointment reminder or a follow‑up call after a procedure. You never feel rushed, and every question is answered with patience and genuine care. It’s obvious that the staff understands how important our pets are to us. Our dogs are always treated with kindness, and you can tell they feel comfortable there — which says a lot. Smore recently had a small procedure done, and it went perfectly. The team walked us through what to expect, kept us updated, and made sure Smore was calm and well‑cared‑for throughout the entire process. That level of attention and compassion is something every pet parent hopes for. Clear communication, gentle handling, and a smooth, stress‑free experience — it’s truly the trifecta of a well‑run veterinary team. We’re grateful for the care they’ve given our pets and look forward to many more years with this clinic.

They’ve always been so understanding and responsive, no matter the situation. Amber is amazing — she’s the perfect person to greet you, especially if you’re walking in full crisis mode with a pet emergency. She just has that calming, kind energy that instantly makes you feel like you and your pet are in good hands. Everyone there is genuinely friendly and compassionate. You can tell they truly love animals and care deeply about yours like it’s their own. Their "DIVA patient" drop-off system is such a great idea — for pets that might need a little extra time or attention, you drop them off in the morning and pick them up later in the afternoon. It makes the whole process so much less stressful for both the pet and the owner. Overall, Mercy Animal Clinic is just an amazing place. I always leave feeling confident that my dogs are getting the best possible care from people who really love what they do. Highly recommend! 💙🐾

I started taking my dogs to see dr. Hamlin years ago, they were already over the age of 10. I moved to Austin 3 years ago but would still travel back to Mercy for their major visits. My little one got kidney failure and cancer and I immediately drove her back to mercy for their care. They did everything they could, with love and kindness. But at the age of 17, it was her time to go. Nicole was so kind but pragmatic. She let me know it was time and I reluctantly knew it was too. She stayed after hours to administer euthanasia. She sat by my side while I said goodbye to my baby. I will always be grateful to her and her kindness. And to dr. Hamlin for getting her through heart failure and back problems and giving me the option to care for her without draining my life savings and talking me through every option of their critical care. Thank you so much Rick and Nicole.
