I can't recommend VRA enough! My Landon has been here I believe 3 x and the last 2 x they were full but since he had been there before and it was life threatening they acted fast! They treated Landon amazing and kept me up to date! I love that CVCA works side by side which makes things much more easier with dogs with heart conditions. I'm thankful for all the Dr's and techs who give 🙏 my Landon such good care that I still have time with him! I am thankful for everything extra minute.. He is doing well and is a happy boy.. 😊

I just want to thank all the staff who were working last night (3/19/2026) when we brought in our beloved cat, Albert. He was non-responsive by the time we arrived. While they were unable to save our precious boy, they were so kind and gentle with us and with our baby. The staff was amazing and so understanding that this was a shock to us and took their time with us and were patient when it took us time to make decisions. Truely would recommend them.

If I could give them less I would. They are absolute scammers, just want your money. Cannot do anything either. The care they gave my dog for an open head wound was ridiculous compared to the care we got at grove veterinary just 10 minutes away. We paid 800 dollars JUST to even give her pain killers or sedatives. Then tried to tell us we needed at 5000 dolkar surgery with anesthesia. The vet office the next day did the suturing that this place said she needed for 900 dollars. While I understand it was Christmas and there were 3 dogs behind her, the fact that the price went to 5000 dollars is ridiculous when the different vdt office was able to do it with just sedatives. They should’ve been transparent and said doing it with us will be super expensive, we will give her sedatives pain killers and clean it and go to a different vet tomorrow. Instead we waited for 5 hours and most of that time was them calculating a price!! Very traumatic and waste of 800 dollars.

I am late on writing this review, but in Feb 2026 I took my dog for a consult with Dr. "Ben" (Benoit) on a suspected nasal tumor. He recommended a MRI as the most conclusive, but gave all the other options as well so it wasn't just the most expensive. I opted for the MRI, and sadly, we found an advanced tumor in my dog's nasal passage that had already broken through to his brain. Dr. Ben gave me a menu of options and different outcomes we may get. He never made me feel pressured or judged, and was empathetic and compassionate. It's clear he's also incredibly knowlegable of the most recent treatments available. I understand there are always complaints about expensive care at Vet ERs/Referrals or "are they owned by PE?" questions, but an MRI and radiology expertise anywhere is expensive, so that's something to just accept. VRA was worth the expense for me because I wasn't treated like an open wallet or profit line; I was even given a military discount. I am very grateful for their entire staff for getting us in quickly and the humane treatment to owners and their pet family. Thank you Dr. Ben for letting me know how much time I had left to cherish my dog. I'm forever grateful for your kind and calming presence.

Dr. Carolyn Chen and Alexis were absolutely wonderful during my dog’s surgery. They were professional, compassionate, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was obvious that they truly care about their patients and treat them like their own. My dog received excellent care, and we are so grateful for their expertise and kindness. Thank you, Dr. Chen and Alexis, for taking such great care of our beloved pet. I highly recommend them! While the medical care was excellent, I would like to offer a small suggestion regarding the front desk. Some of the reception staff could benefit from additional customer service training. As someone who also works in healthcare, I understand that clients often arrive feeling very stressed. A simple smile and a little kindness can make a big difference in their experience.

Absolutely love the neurological team here , we have been seeing them for our pup for a little over a year now , and they are always friendly. Very helpful and you can tell they really love their job . They always answer every question we have even the ones we think might be silly questions they never mind . The front desk staff is very nice and the place has a good atmosphere. It is a longer drive for us but it is worth it , I definitely recommend if your going to see the neurologist here. I have never used the er part of this establishment but everyone seems very nice on that end aswell .

I have brought my 2 cats to VRA on numerous occasions - multiple times over the past 9 years for ER services, and now also for specialized treatment. My cats have never received anything but wonderful care at VRA. They have been treated by many of the doctors and technicians (I feel like I have met so many of them now), and I am so thankful to all of them, and in particular, to Drs Lechner, Manoharan, Glover, and Fritz. Some of the more recent visits stand out in my mind, as they have also been the most serious. At the end of November, one of my cats vomited an enormous amount of blood - she ended up being hospitalized at VRA for nearly 2 weeks. She developed pancreatitis, needed a blood transfusion, didn’t eat for a week and had a temporary feeding tube put in, had an endoscopy and biopsies done… in the end she was diagnosed with small t-cell lymphoma and has started chemo treatment with the oncologist there. Dr. Fritz, the oncologist, has been extremely helpful and responsive, in particular, after a bout of UTI that I had to bring her into the ER for. Before this, she had also been diagnosed with chronic bronchitis and was being treated by the internist, Dr. Manaharan, who also treated her during her 2-week hospitalization, along with another internist, Dr. Lechner. I also remember during that time being in tears, afraid I was going to lose her. I was sitting with Dr. Glover, and Dr. Glover was so compassionate and assured me she believed that wouldn’t happen (and it didn’t). They allowed me to visit her every day that she was there as well, which gave me great comfort and I believe comfort to my cat. Now, just a few days ago, my second cat (the first cat’s brother) began vomiting and was admitted to VRA for 2 nights. Because he seemed to be following in the footsteps of his sister, I was very happy that Dr. Lechner was able to take care of him, since he had been wonderful with my first cat, and knew and remembered her. My second cat ended up also having an endoscopy and biopsies done, and we’re waiting for the results now. As I write this review, I can’t help but cry and be so very grateful to the entire team at VRA.
