The Veterinary Center At Hunters Crossing

I took my dog to the Veterinary Center at Hunters Crossing for a wellness exam and vaccinations. We were warmly greeted by the front office staff, and a nurse promptly escorted us to an exam room. Maggie, the nurse, was kind and compassionate toward both my dog and me. She asked thoughtful questions and let us know the doctor would be in shortly. Dr. Brandenburg was kind, professional, and highly knowledgeable. She performed a thorough examination and asked detailed questions about my dog’s care at home. She communicated clearly and provided several care options. Overall, it was an excellent visit for both my dog and I, and we are very glad to have found a practice that provides such high-quality compassionate care!

I was seen as a referral from my Primary Vet when my dog presented with pyometra, which can be fatal if left untreated. The veterinary center quickly coordinated care with my Vet and arranged for her to be seen for surgery that evening. The prices were fair, they had financing options (if needed) and the team treated us with compassion, care, and respect. 10/10 recommend! Maeve says thank you for taking such good care of her! Xoxo

To say that this group of Doctors and Staff are the most compassionate, animal well being driven group would be an understatement. It starts at the top with Dr Alexis who has cared for my animals for almost 10 years. It is never easy to put one of your animals down. Today with the incredible help of the Veterinarian Center and its staff they made it the best possible outcome you could expect when losing a family member. I highly recommend them I've had animals all my life and this is by far the best group I've ever met. I look forward to our next 10 years

I’d give them a ten star rating if I could. This office is exceptional in all areas. The two receptionists were both super nice and cool. I could have stood up there and chatted with them all day. The care from the veterinary team was top notch as well. Their love of animals is quite evident. Also, the cost was quite reasonable. Free first visit? That is so generous! I am soooo very happy I found this place for my dog.

They are so compassionate everyone who works there ! I recently lost my cat of 20 years and they could not have handled her and me any better. My German Shepherd does not like going to the vet, but he does well there for both his medical needs and his bath I would highly recommend them to everyone in the area👍

I love this practice! They are so kind and accommodating. I drive 30 miles just to come here so that they can take care of my dog. I know she gets the best care here.

I have not personally used this clinic for veterinary services, but I wanted to share an experience that speaks volumes about the incredible team here. I work in hospice, and I recently cared for a patient who had no local family… her only family lived across the world. As she approached the end of life, one of her biggest concerns was her beloved dog. Before being admitted to the hospital, she had boarded her elderly dog at this clinic and contacted the vet clinic to let them know what was happening, and they gave her so much peace of mind knowing her dog would be cared for. I saw it with my own eyes the amount of relief they provided to her. After she passed, I reached out to the clinic and provided the next-of-kin information. Their team was unbelievably gracious, compassionate, and genuinely invested their time in the well-being of this sweet 15-year-old dog, especially Lily, whom I mostly communicated with. They went above and beyond - looking into the legal steps needed if the family wanted to bring him back to their home country, while also offering local resources and even sharing that one of their employees, who runs a rescue, was willing to adopt him personally if family was unable to take him back to their home country. I just wanted to write this review because, while it may have not been a typical situation for this clinic - it was a difficult and emotional situation, this clinic showed such kindness, empathy, and dedication… not just to the pet, but to the human who loved him deeply. That kind of compassion is rare, and I will never forget it.
