I drive all the way from Rowlett to this vet. Every single person I've ever interacted with has been fantastic. From phone calls to surgery we have been treated like family. Incredibly they're priced fairly AND treat our pets like their own.

I took my dogs for a 2nd opinion with Dr. Mireles, who was highly recommended. Dr. Mireles and his staff are amazing. Staff are professional, thorough, and gentle. Dr. Mireles is personable, kind, knowledgeable, and takes a conservative approach in treating my dogs (8 & 11 years old). At another Vet hospital, I was given a quote between $1600-$2600 (after being charged $1800 for biopsy and bloodwork) to remove a benign anal gland tumor for my Shih Tzu. Dr. Mireles's thorough pre-surgical cost was between $400-$800.00. After the surgery, the total cost, including cold laser therapy, was less than $500.00. My 11-year-old Shih Tzu left Custer Animal Hospital happy after the surgery. A thorough post-surgical instruction was given. Dr. Mireles gave her an antibiotic injection that will last her for 14 days. I'm so happy because this Shih Tzu will not swallow pills even if they are embedded in a pill pouch. I highly recommend Custer Animal Hospital! Amazing Doctors and staff, and affordable.

Dr Fran is wonderful with my 12 yr old chinchilla. It’s rare to find a place where they care for exotics and not overcharge you. I’ve been to several vets over the years; it’s always been a challenge and I finally found the perfect place for my chin. Custer Road Animal Hospital is absolutely the best! Everyone here truly cares about the animals. The service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

This place was great for me today. Unfortunately, I had to put my cat down this morning and they got me in within an hour and I could not have asked for kinder people to handle the end of life care for my baby. Plus they were by far the best price for euthanasia in Collin County.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Custer Road Animal Hospital – Frisco I brought my rescued dog Blaze here when he was in very poor condition, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care he received. The entire staff was kind, polite, and genuinely caring. The doctor was very knowledgeable and treated him with such precision and attention, even though Blaze was a very sick rescue case. Blaze even had a little "accident" at the clinic (a huge one with quite an odor 😅), yet everyone remained calm, professional, and understanding — never once making me feel uncomfortable. I truly appreciate their compassion, patience, and expertise. They treated Blaze like he mattered, and that means the world to me. Highly recommend Custer Road Animal Hospital to anyone who wants their pet cared for by people who really know what they’re doing and care deeply about animals.

I am so grateful for this clinic and the amazing staff that works here! I found a sweet stray Australian Shepherd and couldn’t believe no one was claiming her—she was so well-trained and incredibly sweet. At her first appointment here for itching, I learned she tested positive for heartworms. Everyone at the clinic has been an absolute lifesaver through the entire process. The treatment price was extremely reasonable compared to other clinics, and the care has been phenomenal. They treated my sweet Belle with so much love and compassion, and they went above and beyond to calm my fears and answer all my (many!) questions. Belle has now completed her treatment and is awaiting her follow-up testing. I can’t recommend this clinic and its wonderful staff highly enough!

Dr. Mireles and his team are exceptional. Their genuine love for animals and dedication to their work is evident in every interaction. From reception to the vet techs, everyone I encountered was kind, knowledgeable, and patient, taking the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions. I consulted several veterinarians in the DFW area about what I was told would be a complicated procedure for my dog, but none felt confident performing the surgery, and the proposed costs were astronomical. Then I found Dr. Mireles. He listened carefully to my concerns, eased my fears, and explained the procedure, giving me confidence that my dog would be in the best hands. He ultimately performed a fantastic, minimally invasive surgery at a reasonable price. I cannot recommend Custer Road Animal Hospital highly enough. From my very first phone call to our final post-surgery check-in, the entire experience was truly top-notch.
