I have been coming to Sunnyside Pet hospital faithfully for years. Throughout the years however, there is an employee by the name of Skye, who is very rude & unprofessional. She doesn't greet customers & always seems angry. I came in for a visit today, 5/26/26, & when I was trying to check in, she refused to acknowledge me. I even gave her time as she had gotten off a call. As I stood there, she still didn't acknowledge me, greet me , or even looked at me. The other staff member saw what she did and helped me. Then as others came in, she greeted them but did not show me this kind of respect. When I checked out, I went to her, and she did it again. She refused to help me. This is not acceptable. Especially when I'm a paying customer who has been coming here for years. An establishment as this, you really need to ensure that your staff is providing excellent customer service or you will be losing customers. This is an ongoing issue with this worker & I highly suggest you take action to prevent this from happening again and again. I will not be silent anymore. Employees who treat customers with disrespect should be reprimanded for their actions.
My last visit was August 2025. The front desk lady had a problem with my 5 year old watching a video on my phone while waiting for my pets then. Told me to lower down my phone and it wasn’t even loud. So I turned it down. My son turned it up a little bit but I turned it back down to a low level and I looked up and she looked frustrated and looked up and told me to lower it down again. I had a new dog so he had to get shots. I noticed the vet Jill Carroll was recording our visit with a phone. I emailed them and Jill caroll was on the receptionist side and said to "maybe bring headphones next time if I have to bring my son". I don’t live in the southeast side of Fresno anymore, I have brought my pets here for a decade and for this hospital to be like this is unacceptable.
Great professional service, we had our kitten spayed, she is recovering well. Same day animal return with no complications. Dropped her off at 8am and retrieved her at 3pm. Thank you to the staff, for answering all our questions
Front desk lady is extremely rude. And has no etiquette at all. She was being extremely rude to my autistic child who had to go his father because I was at home with a newborn. The owner then proceeded to record my child without his father’s consent. I called and no one ever got back to me about the situation. If I could rate it a zero star I would. I’ve read the reviews and I don’t know how someone so nasty can still be employed there. My child came home in tears telling me how rude the lady was. We have since then went to a different vet
I’ve had the worst experience as a new puppy owner going to sunny side pet hospital. The front desk staff is so extremely rude Every time I’ve gone in, which has been 3 times now. The first time I had an appointment where we saw the vet and my puppy got shots , weighed in, and they even prescribed flea and tick prevention medication for 1 month. That appointment wasn’t so bad with the Dr but the follow-ups have been awful. They take your dog from you. Give you absolutely no information on what they are doing and they did no follow-ups about his flea medication or any of the concerns I’ve had about his dry skin. Today he had his last set of puppy shots and didn’t tell me anything like if he could go on a walk immediately or wait a few days or any info at all. Just handed him to me and walked away. 🙄 I feel like this place lacks any customer service at all and are so uninformative it’s awful. I will be finding a new vet office and definitely do not recommend you brining your animal to this place.
A huge thank you to the Sunnyside Pet Hospital employees, Skye in particular. They were amazing with our cat Momo, and we're caring and patient when we had to put her to sleep.
Our boys Ted and Tod have been going here for almost three years now. We have closer vet hospitals/clinics near Clovis East however we choose to come here because I always watch the staff handle my cats we care. The techs are sweet and the Vet is nice. I like that we can drop them off and then run errands around town. They call us when they are ready for pickup. They have treated my tuxedo for ear mites, a gash on his paw, and recently we took him in because he was not acting normal. After the visit and a recommendation to decrease his stress levels he finally seems normal again. I have a little third cat that is a new addition to the house hold and we will be bringing her here soon for a checkup. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring your pet here, I never feel cheated with the price or service
