Our 3yr old Rottie needed knee surgery and Skylos came highly recommended. Great experience from very 1st phone conversation thru discharge after surgery. Dr.Hummel was extremely thorough explaining how the operation would be done and post-op. Also, the overnight crew put us at ease by sending us pictures and text updates.

I was very happy with all the information that was provided on discharge day for Lylas knee surgery procedure from Skylos Sports Medicine so I was able to take care of her when we brought her home for recovery. Thank you Skylos! Thank you Dr. Peter Lotsikas and all your staff! We brought Moose in April 2025 for X-rays for his hips because he was practically dragging his back legs. Moose is a beautiful fast growing German shepherd and at 5 months he weighed 70 pounds! He was diagnosed with bilateral coxofemoral and needed a total right hip replacement. It was an easy decision.Get it done. They saved our pup and we will always be grateful to them. It’s been a little over 4 months and he is running with our other pups for the first time in his life! He is just a year old now, 110 lbs and because of Skylos and all your knowledge and kindness we hope to have moose for several years.

No one likes taking your dog in for surgery for so many reasons... If you do, Skylos is where you should go. From Dr. Hummel (who spent all the time needed to explain pre and post surgery what was going on, Holly (who was on top of getting us scheduled and speaking with out vet to further details) and the team when you arrive are truly amazing. Their care, kindness and processes are top notch. I am so happy to have found them and as much I would like to not have to return, if I do there is no place else I would go. Skylos has been amazing through our entire experience so far. We brought our dog in with a suspected CCL and meniscus tear. From our initial consultation through surgery, Dr. Hummel and his staff were very thorough and informative, to ensure we understood our pet's injury, treatment and possible outcomes. During the surgery process itself communication was great. Since our dog had to stay overnight, their night staff sent picture updates and were available via text/call if we wanted to check in. We were nervous about post-surgical care but Skylos provided us with detailed step-by-step instructions which has helped ease our nerves. I cannot recommend them enough!!

The staff at skylos truly are a group of people that are compassionate and caring when it comes to the health of your pet. From the first consultation to the surgery and care once home they let you know how your pet is doing at every step along the way and check in with you once you are at home. Saying that tplo surgery was a stressful situation to be in with your beloved pet is an understatement but the staff at Skylos definitely does everything to try to limit that stress. At 5 days poste surgery with Mollie she is doing phenomenal and we credit all of that to the wonderful staff at Skylos. Mollie still has a long way to go to full healing of the right knee and a second surgery on the left knee but we know at each step of the way the staff at Skylos will be there for us and Mollie. My handsome boy Zeke had a horrible cruciate ligament and meniscus injury. Skylos helped Zeke and me through TPLO surgery. All of the staff are knowledgeable, personable, and patient. They have taken excellent care of Zeke and calmed my worries and fears every step of the way. I never wanted this for Zeke, but since it was unavoidable, I'm grateful for Skylos Sports Medicine. During Zeke's overnight post-surgical stay, the overnight staff texted me pictures of my boy. It was helpful to see how well he was being cared for. Tomorrow will be one week in a twelve to fourteen week recovery. We're in it for the long haul. Nothing but good vibes for my main man, Zeke.
