I saw the vet was highly recommended on facebook and decided to give them a chance due to the vet I was currently using wasn’t personable with me or my dog. I would have to muzzle him and it took 2 vet techs to hold him for any examination. I really appreciated Dr. Hasslinger explaining in detail and the recommendations. She also got down on floor and my dog took to her and staff instantly. No muzzle required.

We go to Opossum Pike for our bunnies. One is a dwarf Holland lop and the other is a flemish giant. They are amazing with them!

Dr. Arthur is wonderful. She is a caring and compassionate vet who takes her time to ask questions and explain what needs to be done to help the animal. The staff, both tech and office, is caring and efficient. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for compassionate and competent care.

Yesterday, my 9 year old Hound had dental work done by Opossum Pike Vet Clinic. He has been a patient with this wonderful clinic since we adopted him eight years ago. The team is very kind, pleasant with all the patients. They take such good care of each patient while they are in their care. I trust this practice and each team member wholeheartedly. I knew that my buddy would be in the best care possible while he underwent anesthesia to have his teeth cleaned. Tucker isn't a good chewer, so I wasn't surprised that he had to have multiple teeth removed. We have been putting the cleaning off. I am grateful to have had it done. After he recuperates, he will be much more comfortable. What I love and appreciate about this practice. They are honest, conservative in their care. They do care about their patients and families. They treat both with respect and kindness. They are very knowledgeable and very skilled medically. The practice has very reasonable rates for all their procedures. I so appreciate that they are a private practice which still allows a more connected, individualized and compassionate care without having to overcharge for services. I have been coming here for years with my dogs and without fail, the staff and doctors are wonderful. The practice runs on time, the service is excellent, and everyone truly, deeply cares about my dogs. This is a wonderful group of people and thank goodness they are here.

Opossum Pike Veterinary Clinic has been caring for our animals since the mid 1990s. Currently they provide care for three of our dogs and two cats. One of my dogs has Addison’s disease and has to get a shot every couple of weeks. Whenever I bring her for her shot she is excited to go with the doctor or tech so she can gobble down some treats. With all my fur babies the doctors never rush me and take time to answer all my questions.

When we had to leave the country, my biggest concern was my cat. She is family, and I was deeply worried about making sure everything would be done properly so she could travel safely with us. The team at Opossum Pike Veterinary Clinic was truly wonderful throughout the entire process. They guided us with patience, clarity, and genuine care through all the documentation, even with a very tight timeline.
