Veterinary Specialists of North Texas

I have been taking my dog here for awhile. I was surprised that they have changed to seems like a whole new staff. My dog's veternian is no longer there. She seen Dr. Randolph and she seemed detailed and efficient. However there has been 2 or 3 occasions I have left messages concerning my dogs problems, and I may get a call or I may not. I don't think I should have to follow up with a follow up call myself every time. Like now I called Monday and still haven't received a call. I need to deal with another doctor since she is unavailable. For the record my dog was there in April and was given a treatment plan.

I can’t recommend VSNT enough! Since they’re a specialty clinic, I was terrified they were going to try and price gouge us in this terrible time, but that was not our experience at all! Everyone was so kind and caring, the front desk, the techs, the doctor, everyone! We saw Dr. Carlos Rodriguez and we’re so thankful that we did! While the news we got is still terrible, he gave us a definitive diagnosis quickly and without unnecessary tests. We’ve been panicked and terrified the last 3 months and within just an hour we had answers at VSNT. We’re immensely grateful for their help and expertise, because of them we can make whatever time our baby has left as meaningful and joyful as possible. Unfortunately, our baby boy does have terminal cancer but with their help, we have clear steps on how to move forward and ensure the time he has left is quality time and not filled with trying to find answers with unnecessary tests and vet visits.

I've had to use this vet twice. Both times they were attentive and actually listened to what I had to say. They were sympathetic to my situation and to my baby's issue. Compassionate and caring when that final decision was made.

Dr.Cook and her team are amazing. They are just as great with the pet’s "person" as they are with the pet patients. Even the front desk staff are great. I walked in worried about what we were going into, but Dr. Cook and her team went above and beyond to care for us and answer all our questions. Charly wasn’t exactly excited to be there but they made her feel okay about being there with them.Their years of experience shines thru but it’s the patience they show is what floored me.They love what they do and it shows. Thank you!

This place is AMAZING. EVERYONE was so kind, and patient and you could tell they REALLY cared about our Opie. The hospital manager (Diane) came in the room with us while we were waiting for the doctor and spent time loving all over Opie. He is having some age-related heart issues, and Dr. Burney and his staff are very companionate and spent a LONG time with us explaining what needed to be done to find out what our next steps with him would be. I have had dogs all my life and have been to a TON of Vet offices but none of them can come close to the comfort this facility brought to me. HIGHLY recommend!

This is the BEST PLACE to take your animal (especially Dogs and Cats) to in this ENTIRE FORT WORTH area! HANDS DOWN! When other normal VETS are still very good for your pets, the VSNT is the next step. These folks are SPECIALISTS and understand things going on in another whole level. Euthanasia was given to me as an alternative but to their tribute, they suggested VSNT when my beloved Doochie (Duchess) had a fairly rare but very treatable affliction that affected her RED BLOOD CELLS and their ability to carry Oxygen throughout the body and of course the brain. She passed out right in front of us. Once Dr. Allison Wilson (pictured here with Duchess) saw her l, she stepped into action and Duchess got to stay in great health with all of us for another 3 1/2 years. Only spayed, female dogs ever get this blood disorder. Get that SECOND opinion….. or even better the FIRST OPINION. Plus the emergency Hospital is connected so everything they need is RIGHT THERE in an arm’s reach! Thanks you Allison for those wonderful years we all had with your first patient and our beloved little Doochie. That crown that you bought her stays with me forever. Bruce

If you need an oncologist or internal medicine doctor, this is the place to go. Since my baby’s first appointment here, we have received nothing but the best care. Dr. Rodriguez is so thorough on his examinations and he carries so much knowledge regarding lymphoma. Dr. Burney is so compassionate and so knowledgeable regarding all things internal medicine and even oncology. When my baby got sick from chemo, they were able to help and Dr. Cook was amazing for that. But having been a client since 9/2025, I will always bring my babies here for any specialty needs. The whole hospital is amazing and all of the staff truly love your pets as if they are theirs. They truly stand with their core values.
