I love LOVE the staff here, very sweet and knowledgeable. Dr. Crocker is the best vet. I drive all the way from Dallas just so she can be my vet for my two yorkies. I’ve been seeing her for over 5+ years. Can’t recommend them enough.

Unfortunately it came time for my husband and I to put down our cat that we had for 16 years. From the moment we walked into AVAH we felt wrapped in a warm hug from all the staff. Saying goodbye to our pets is one of the most challenging and difficult process to go through but the staff at AVAH made saying goodbye to our boy so beautiful and peaceful. We really can’t even describe how calm and peaceful it was to say goodbye to him and we know we wouldn’t have had the same experience at a larger more corporate vet. Thank you staff for such an incredible beautiful memory of saying goodbye to our baby boy!! Samantha H.

When our doodle decided socks are a food group 🙃🐾 this amazing vet team came to the rescue! From the second we called in a mild panic, the staff was calm, reassuring, and so incredibly kind. They took such great care of our fluffy sock-thief and kept us updated every step of the way. You could tell they genuinely care about both the pets and their slightly embarrassed owners. The whole team was professional, compassionate, and even managed to make a stressful situation feel manageable. Happy to report our doodle is back to stealing hearts instead of laundry. We are so grateful for this wonderful staff — 10/10 recommend!

They saved my baby today. The silly goose (Potato) got in to chocolate. They calmed me down, treated me, my boyfriend and my dog incredibly well, and made it so easy on us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Big shout out to Jessica ❤️ Thank you all, SO MUCH!

Alta Vista Animal Hospital is amazing! They saw my boy Moose today for the first time after a back leg had been bothering him causing a limp. He immediately made himself comfortable there and it’s likely because the people are awesome and made it super easy. Dr. Mahanay was so sweet and reassured me of my concerns. She was efficient, yet thorough. I was given recommendations for treatment and also prices throughout the visit, all of which were extremely reasonable. Overall the care was amazing and I’ll definitely be using them from now on! Moose and I thank you all!!

The staff at AVAH are incredible! My first visit to them was with my very medically needy foster dog Eloise. They were so accommodating in fitting her into their busy schedule and ensuring she had the best care. At each recheck, they have been kind, welcoming, and so excited to see Eloise. Eloise still has a little bit to go, but I’m so glad that this team is a part of her journey. They are true lifesavers!

Wonderful staff & care! My dachshund has some special needs and Alta Vista has gone above and beyond, to answer questions and help with all of her health requirements. Easy to schedule and their staff is friendly and informative. Jasmine the groomer is also wonderful, my girl comes home looking great and is totally stress free!
