Remer Veterinary Hospital

I took my dog here for the first time today and was impressed. The doctor is personable and seems like a caring person. Good experience. Not sure yet if the problem is fixed ((seems to be), but I feel like this doctor actually cares about making my dog feel better.

Dr. Remer is very good with my babies. He takes great care of them,and the price of his care is excellent. I would recommend him to anybody that has their babies and in needs of a great Veterinarian.

I have an asthmatic cat that was having difficulties and Reamer was able to get her in at the last minute for treatment and did not overcharge

Dr. Remer and his wife are exceptional. They love all our little fur babies. Very supportive and extremely caring, I recommend them highly.

I have taken my pets here in the past and always appreciated Dr. Remer's and his care but I have to echo the other reviews here and say the lady operating the front desk is unreasonably rude. The last time I called I chalked it up to maybe a bad or busy day, but this is the second time she basically has acted like I'm an idiot for calling them. First time I asked if they did "wound care and clean up on cats" and she said "I don't know what you're asking". The second time I asked she immediately said no they don't have any appointments until Thursday and when I said that was fine she said he needed to be seen before then. Without having known ANYTHING about the wound or what shape he was in, as if I wouldn't know to take him to an emergency hospital if it was that bad. I just truly don't understand how someone can be so unhelpful unless it's intentional.

I've been taking dogs to Dr. Remer for well over 20 years and really don't get these negative reviews. Maybe they're from the competition? Unlike a lot of other vets, this practice will not try to sell you something that isn't necessary.
