VEG ER for Pets

Team, Without question , I would give this place six stars. The care loved and concerned that they showed or our little loved one and my wife, was more than I could ask for. We were there for an unfortunate circumstance , but you can feel the sincerity and love as soon as you walk through the doors. The attention we received, the detail in which we were explained what was happening and the follow up shows the people who work here , love what they do. It is a great happiness that I save my life.Receive the best care she could have ever gotten and is now doing great. Thank you to all the staff at Veg ER!!

Hands down the BEST! I took my dog in there today, who was spitting up blood I cannot tell you how thankful I am for every single team member that was in that room. I didn’t even have to open the front door, they opened up for me. They comforted me as I was able to be by the bedside every single second. They without even asking, went ahead and washed the blood-soaked blanket that I had brought her in with. The doctor was so gentle with me, as I have never experienced the loss of a pet. Every second Sweetie was inside the ER, she was treated with dignity and compassion!

Almost 20 hours away from home and needing last minute vet care is very stressful. Thank goodness I chose this place! They welcomed and attended to us as soon as we stepped foot in the door. Treated my Murphy boy with so much love and was willing to answer any and every question we had to ask. He is thankfully on the mend and I left feeling so glad we were taken care of. 11/10 experience and can’t recommend them enough!

In the 10+ years I’ve been in SWFL I’ve used every emergency vet in the area, and I will NEVER go anywhere else. The care we received here was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. It was clean, organized, the staff was kind and compassionate on a whole other level. They listened to me about my animal, took the time to really talk to me about what was going on and showed her so much love and compassion. Sadly, I had to make the difficult decision to lay her to rest and the love I experienced from the vet and staff made all the difference. They weren’t in the room every five minutes to check or hurry the process along, but were right there anytime I needed and always made sure I knew I wasn’t alone. I’m so thankful for the staff for everything and will never forget the compassion showed to my Doodle.

I called at around 1:30am before coming in to get an opinion on what might have been an emergency or something that could pass in the next day or so. Dr. Mohan advised me to come in and get Maisy checked after I described what was going on and I am so happy I did because her symptoms were quickly getting worse. Dr. Mohan and her vet nurse team are so kind and patient. Maisy is very shy and timid but immediately warmed up to Dr. Mohan and her team. Although Maisy was the only one being actively treated, I was there between 2am-5:30am, the team was extremely thorough with her exam, x-rays, fluids, medication, etc. and explained every step in detail what was going on, which I truly appreciated. The office is extremely well kept and they even provide the humans with snacks, beverages, pillows, and blankets if needed. I really liked the open floor plan and that I was able to sit there with my girl to provide her comfort the entire time since she gets anxiety when I'm not there with her. Thank you so much to Dr. Mohan and her team for making a scary situation a little less scary and my girl feel better 💞

If I could give 100 stars, I would!!! My husband brought our 7 month old puppy, pepper in early this morning. Around 530, in panic mode. She ended up getting fed a bad bone that made her REALLY sick. The staff immediately took her in and started to assess pepper. She was treated just like one of their own. That makes a huge difference in my eyes. They even set me up in a private room that had a pull out bed with comfy pillows and plenty of blankets for the both of us, drinks and snacks, so I could lay with pepper during observation. Dr. Rogers, Dr. Kroncke, Dayana N, Jacob M, Kelly D, Esteban and Abby N were all SOoO very caring, attentive and just down right AMAZING! If you're in need of an emergency vet, this place will not disappoint. Your fur baby will be in great hands at VEG ER for Pets!!!! From the bottom of mine, my husband's and especially Pepper's hearts, THANK YOU!!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 We are all cuddled up in bed now, TOGETHER. As it should be. A++++++++ ♾️

We brought our 14-year-old Yorkie, Milton, to VEG ER for Pets after he suddenly decided gravity was optional and started falling over. Needless to say, we were panicked. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in good hands. The facility has an open floor plan, so you stay with your pet the entire time — no mysterious "back room" moments. They’re also open 24 hours, which is exactly what you want when your dog chooses the worst possible time to scare you. Dr. Royers and Dr. Gonzo were incredible — calm, knowledgeable, and walked us through multiple options without any pressure. The pricing was very fair, which was a huge relief. The nurses, Caroline and Elizabeth, were gentle, attentive, and fantastic with Milton. At the front desk, Haily and Elizabeth were welcoming, reassuring, and helped keep everything calm when we definitely were not. If you’re looking for them, VEG ER for Pets is right off US 41, in front of Chuck E. Cheese and across the street from Trader Joe’s. We’re now back at home, Milton is curled up in his bed like nothing ever happened, and our heart rates have finally returned to normal. It was a scary day, but it ended the best way possible. Huge thank you to VEG ER for Pets for taking such great care of our little guy.
