I am really thankful having my first experience with a vca. I switched vets and it's always nerve wracking having to take your animal. The nurse was amazing I forget her name the blonde with the glasses was super cool gave me all the answers she knew and clarified with the Dr for things she couldn't answer. The doctor was very nice. They have plans that include all kinds of things. I feel like their prices are good and my previous vet only cared about money. Came up with a good care plan for my dog I felt heard and not rushed thru at all. I'm really happy to stick with this as my new vet. It was a great experience overall I highly recommend.
We want to thank Dr Simpson and her staff for the care they showed us when it was time to say goodbye to our baby girl Cupcake. Dr Simpson took the time to explain everything to us and we could tell how much they all cared. Thank you!!!
Doctor Simpson and the staff here were so compassionate and gracious when we brought our 17 year old cat in to be euthanized. He had never been a patient there before but they welcomed us and took great care of him and us. I know this must be one of the more difficult things to do as a vet and I appreciate them getting us an appointment quickly. The staff were great and the whole process went as good as it could. We really appreciate their service in ours (and his) time of need. We will consider using them again, hopefully not for this service any time soon.
My care club auto payment did not go through one month because I had to replace the card I was using. Instead of calling me or emailing me to have me resolve this, they just sent it to collections. A courtesy call would have been appreciated instead of just deciding to cancel my account with no warning.
I take my almost 16-year old cairn terrier here for his basic care, and this weekend we ended up at Colonial Animal Hospital because VCA is closed on Sundays, and he was straining to urinate. The experience there very chaotic and stressful. I setup my dogs procedure there and woke up Monday just knowing I should not take him there for the procedure. I called VCA first thing, they put Dr. Bradley on the line asap and she explained everything in a way that made me feel calm and trusting of where I was about to take my baby. Their office seems to run smooth with everyone being very kind and knowledgable. They showed me where he would be staying, explained the paper work in a non-overwhelming way, and called me to update me on him multiple times. Dr. Bradley texted me this morning asking how he was. And had him come in for a check where they accomodated him by coming out to the car. Highly recommend! Most importantly my guy made it through his procedure, which I was very nervous about! 10/10!
Been taking my little 3 1/2 half pound baby there his whole life over14yrs. I made an appointment to have him groomed and they called because he hasn’t had his latest vaccine which I explained to them that he literally does not go outside and it his age now that’s very dangerous. I know dogs that have died that are not as old so they canceled my appointment very sad, considering they’re the only vet that he’s gone to his whole life for almost 15 years. This place is not compassionate and heartless to turn down a 3 1/2 pound baby that’s 15 years old because they don’t have latest vaccine All other vaccines except for this latest he doesn’t have and they’re denying grooming. I noticed in the past few years this place Has changed and focused on making money, adding things in there all about making money and less of care and compassion.
I found listings of vets and my new kitten Good Monkey took me there. Nice facilities, techs and the vet were great. Good Monkey has been a frequent boarder. Overall probably about 10 times for around 10 days each time. He sends me photos.
