Today I took my baby boy to Urgent Vet around 3:30. He ruptured one of his glands last night and being that work in the field, I know he needed antibiotics asap to prevent infection in the open hole. Right off the bat everyone was very kind and patient with him and me. I saw Holly and Dr.Hedges. They were very sweet with him and I could hear them in the back telling him it was gonna be okay and he was a good boy during his treatment. He was probably the first case they saw today since they open at 3 and it’s definitely not one of the more glamorous parts of vet med.. but they were happy to be with him regardless. Holly talked me through the itemized bill so I understood what everything was and what it entailed. They gave me a full plan to do at home and gave him lots of love. He was much more anxious since this is obviously not his general vet, but I could tell he was as comfortable as he could be there. The only thing I will say, nothing to do with the people of course, is that their exam fee is a bit high for an urgent vet. I would expect that from an ER, but the exam alone was $135. Clip and clean and expression cost were expected for an urgent vet, but definitely pricier than a GP would be of course. These ladies are lovely and I would recommend this place based off the staff I met alone❤️🐾

My sincere thanks to Dr. Weston and Holly who were concerned for Princeton (my feline) the minute we rushed over to clinic. It was after hours and we were concerned because our cat was experiencing motor skill issues, falling over, the leg started coming up involuntarily, etc. Thankfully it was nothing neurological, as Dr Weston did some physical tests. Princeton was fine while there and regained everything and he’s been normal since we left. It’s been 24 hours now and he’s acting as normal as ever. I’m extremely thankful to them for being there for my pet, and they couldn’t have been any more friendly. I would highly recommend Urgent Vet of Fort Myers for any of your pets medical needs.

We were so lucky to find this clinic just 45 minutes before closing when our precious dog needed urgent care. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with kindness and compassion—as if we were long-time clients. The treatment they prescribed worked quickly and was exactly what our dog needed. They even followed up the next day to check on us, which truly shows their dedication and care. We are absolutely blown away by the level of service and compassion. Highly recommend!

Brought my cat in for blood in her urine, and was greeted with kind and caring employees! They helped diagnose a UTI and made my anxious cat feel very welcomed! The doc even called to check in on her the next day! Highly recommend this place for a nice calm environment for your fur babies!

It took a little while because they were dealing with two emergencies but I would expect no different if they were taking care of an emergency with my dog. They kept us informed every few minutes what was going on and how much longer it would be. They treated us quickly, compassionately with kindness and empathy. They took care of us quickly when the got to us. They explained things step by step and kept us informed the entire way. Highly recommended, great staff!

Great bedside manner super great care for our golden doodle Sadie. Had all the lab tests completed and quick results while we waited. Sadie loved the treats. Easy appt and very happy. I highly recommend this vet care. Shout out to Holly and Allison.

Excellent Emergency Clinic for minor emergencies. I took my puppy on a Sunday with stomach issues and was met with the kindest, most caring vet tech right at the door. Holly was gentle and so sweet with my furbaby. She made sure we were informed with ever procedure and just made us as well as the puppy feel comfortable. Dr Weston the vet was excellent. Gave us several options plus her gut feeling. She put us at ease and sent us home with the proper medication that seems to be working great. The clinic is very clean. All precautions were taken until it was determined that my pet wasn’t contagious. It just a great place to take your fur babies when you know it isn’t life threatening. Any events that may need X-ray or further testing they may have to refer you elsewhere because they don’t have the equipment. Thank you Holly and Dr Weston for the great care.
