Companion Pet Care

I’ve been taking my buddy, Emmitt, to Companion Pet Care over the past four years. Through the years, Companion Pet Care has always proven to be professional and very trust worthy. Unfortunately, Emmitt’s health took a turn for the worse over the past week. We brought Emmitt in for a visit on Friday and we had to make the hardest decision of our life, it was time to say goodbye. We were well informed by Dr. Shivers and his staff about Emmitt’s condition and the options available to us. We determined all options to try to keep him around would have been for selfish reasons as his quality of life would be diminished and there was a possibility Emmitt would not survive surgical procedures. Dr. Shivers helped with our decision and explained the entire process to us. We were allowed time to spend with Emmitt before, during, and after the process of euthanasia. Throughout the process, Dr. Shivers found a way to help put a smile on our faces despite the circumstances and we truly appreciate that. We probably won’t have another pet for a while as we navigate the grieving process, but when we do decide to share our love and home with another dog again, Companion Pet Care will be our designated vet.

Dr. Jessica is one of the best veterinarians we have ever met. She's definitely someone who LOVES her job and works hard to make sure your pet is well taken care of. All of the staff are there to help your loved one feel at home. Companion Pet Care is the only Vet clinic I will ever take my dog.

Dr. Stratton and the staff are gentle and patient with my rescue dogs. They take the time to listen to my concerns, and are so kind to my dogs, who have trust issues from mistreatment in the past. I feel so comfortable there, and they make sure to meet the needs of all of us! Highly recommend Dr. Stratton if you have a nervous pet.

I changed vets because my old vet retired and im so glad I found Dr Shivers. He is taking good care of my sweet Belgium Malinois health. The staff is always eager to answer my questions. Very new and clean office located in a nice plaza in a central location. My dog 🐕 has heartworms from us missing doses because of Winter. Dr Shivers is treating my dog and so far my dog is doing well.

Staff is very knowledgeable and informative and will take good care of your pet. They do not push any service that is not needed, and have found they charge reasonable fees for visits, services and supplies. They make you feel like family' and during our 2nd visit is was wonderful to see a sign welcoming their new patients to the practice our Maverick included.

My wife and I were empress with how quickly they were able to get us in not being clients of their. Not only did they do the best they could for are cat they help us through the hard days to come. Nothing but thanks for everything

Could not have a more compassionate professional group . Highly recommend. My brave dog needed surgery and they gave her excellent care.
