I have a very fear reactive german shepherd so taking him anywhere is very stressful for everyone. the staff here were absolutely amazing in accommodating us!! they made sure to clear the lobby for us of any dogs coming and and even asked waiting customers on the way out to move their pets to the corners of the waiting room to give him much needed space. most places brush us off and say they dont make accommodations or take "aggressive" animals. I have to point out the vet tech we had also. most vet techs are scared of big scary dogs but she was amazing!! she didn’t back away from him or anything which helped his anxiety so much!! she even allowed us to bring his brother in for some support. the vet herself was very helpful as well. though I did find it a little pricey, finding a flexible and empathetic staff is priceless! plan on bringing these dogs back in the future. they gave my GSD his space and quickly realized hes just a big scaredy cat. thank you!!

They saved my geckos life!!! My leopard gecko Ozzie had what appeared to be a huge abscess at the base of his tail. I thought he would need to be euthanized as I thought it was possibly a tumor. Dr. Amy took a look at him and immediately knew he was impacted. Her and her team were able to drain the infection, which then made my gecko instantly feel better. They then gave him an injection of antibiotics and he was good to go!!! I still can’t believe I was able to take him home with me, not only safe, but healthy. Did I mention I was an emergency patient and told to come in with no problem? 10 Stars go to DR. Amy and all staff at colonial animal hospital. My heart is so warm.

I called Colonial Animal Hospital as a last resort with attempt to get my kitten spayed. Typically, I've taken our animals to the Humane Society for this due to their competitive pricing but Colonial Animal Hospital had them substantially beat! I was extremely impressed just by the level of professionalism from the front desk staff upon scheduling. Their availability was phenomenal and I was able to get an appointment within the same week. Upon arrival, the wait time was short and they took my kitten into surgery promptly. I work right around the corner so the convenience was top notch! I got a text message when she was out of surgery. The recovery process was thoroughly explained and we were sent home with aftercare instructions and medications without an additional cost. The following day after her spay surgery, she was acting as if nothing ever happened. She showed very little signs of being unwell and was practically back to her normal self in no time. This clearly reflects the great care that the staff at Colonial Animal Hospital provided. The wound area was actually the smallest incision I've ever seen too - which is great because... faster recovery! I just wanted to thank the staff and doctors here because from start to finish, the process was SEAMLESS. My kitten is happy and healthy. We will definitely be returning, shall we need further veterinarian care.

This is an amazing animal hospital. They are affordable, have a flat exam rate, take and encourage walk ins, and dont charge extra for emergencies. As a former vet employee I can tell you most of the time none of that is the case. I am a new bird owner and they are probably sick of all my calls and questions but they have always answered me honestly. Yesterday in my panic they could have convinced me to come in and spend a million dollars but they calmed me down and recommended I monitor at home. In my opinion that is another example of great ethics here. I have been there in person twice and a bunch of phone calls. Every experience has been good. Thank you thank you!

We took our Charlie to the clinic last night (Sunday night at 8pm) because he suddenly started peeing blood The staff was very kind and professional from the person who answered the phone when we called to Dr Fischer who examined him. An ultrasound indicated a very high probability of bladder cancer. A dozen more tests could have been ordered, as other vets have done, but as the doctor said It won’t change the outcome It was refreshing to hear someone who was as concerned about our wallet as he was about our dog. I have had $900+ bills in the past from other vets who ran a multitude of tests only to end up telling me they don’t know what’s wrong! Charlie is on medication to ease his discomfort and possibly cure him on the very slim chance it is not cancer. We are so very grateful for Dr Fischer and his staff for the compassion they showed us when evaluating Charlie We will return to Colonial Animal Hospital for his follow up care. Great news! It turns out Charlie had a severe bladder infection not cancer. His second ultrasound showed most of the inflammation of his bladder was gone. 2 more weeks of antibiotics and he should be good to go. Thanks Colonial and Dr Fischer for taking Care of Charlie and taking a conservative course of treatment.

Went there to have my fur baby of 13 yrs euthanized. They were very kind, caring and gave me all the time I wanted to be with my baby. When I picked him up after being cremated he was returned with a beautiful box a lock of hair a paw print and was handed to me in a beautiful blue bag for being carried home in. Thank you for making it a smooth transition.

Clean waiting room, friendly staff, caring doctor, free coffee and dog treats, Purina Proplan cat and dog food. My 2nd experience here 5 stars just like before
