Veterinary Medical Center of Folsom

We came to his vet because one of our good friends, Jessica worked here. She recently moved but we continued to bring our dog, Rocky, here because we always had a great experience. Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago, our sweet Rocky crossed the rainbow bridge. We brought him there to have him sent to be cremated and returned back to us. I’d have to say that despite the heart ache of losing our dog, we knew that they’d take great care of him until he was sent off to be cremated. Yesterday, December 15th, I picked up Rocky’s remains and the call I received was them tell me that our baby was ready to be picked up. They used those exact words. And then today, the 16th, we received a sympathy card in the mail with 5 different prints versions of Rocky’s nose and paw. They went above and beyond to make sure we got something special. Included with the prints was a card with sweet notes from the staff. I honestly can’t find a better vet and whenever we get a new dog, I know exactly where we are taking it. Vet Med Center feels like home and they make sure not only that the animals feel comfortable, but so do the fur parents. Thank you Vet Med Center for taking great care of our Rocky until the very end.

I have never been more thankful or impressed by a vet office like I am this one. My cat was not going to survive the weekend after a 2am ER vet visit and quoted almost 8k to save him. I posted on a community page where Dr. Krissy Wood reached out to me directly to save my sons kitten and my sons heart with an amazing savings to make it doable as a single mom and a drive to save him, she performed the surgery within an hour of us talking and I sat in the parking lot with my son and just cried so hard. He has been in recovery and from start to finish I have never been more impressed or felt like my cat was genuinely loved and cared for. They even brought some medicine to my front porch for him after surgery that he ended up needing and has reached out everyday since to check on him. I will be refering everybody to this office, they are here to save our beautiful fur babies and I just cant say enough good things without crying. SO SO SO blessed by this office and team. They are all absolutely amazing from front office to back office. SO THANKFUL! Karlee

The people at this place are seriously only the very best. I was given the best care for all three of my kitties. One unfortunately took a turn for the worst yesterday and was having a horrible time breathing. They continued to bring me tissues, give all of our options to us as we were getting results. The price is not bad and they even helped us set up a way to pay with credit so that we weren't overwhelmed treating our baby. They stayed late to help her feel better and got us medication next day to take care of her illness. I truly could never recommend a veterinarian more. Each one of them are gifts and I can't sing their praises enough for how they treated us and our babies. ❤️

I absolutely love how caring and compassionate everyone is at this vet office. I've had two cats euthanized here at different times, and they gave me complete control over how much time I needed. When I had to put my baby girl Kasi down, I didn't have enough money to cover the cost to get her ashes back, but the vet helped me cover it. I'm forever grateful to her and the kindness she showed me that day. Sadly, I just had to put my baby boy Kenai down less than two weeks ago. They were again caring and respectful to me and my family in our time of grief. I highly recommend this vet office and the staff who work there! 💙

The lack of empathy I received from the lady who answered the phone this mourning after finding a box full of kittens will ensure I never bring my pet here. Ever. I advise you do the same. I hope she finds a new job like a corrections officer or a parking enforcement cop, a job that will use her amazing ability at having no heart or soul. Should be ashamed, being annoyed you had to answer the phone and answer questions. Yea i obviously used chap gpt but some things are nice to hear from someone you'd think would have the knowledge to reassure you your doing it right. Hope you go out of business if you keep employees like this. Go to another vet medical center, they only want your money.

Awesome experience here. The office was quiet which was great for my skittish cat. I was immediately brought to a room and a tech saw us almost immediately. The tech and vet (I think Dr. Anderson) were very knowledgeable and super sweet to my cat. Usually my cat is screaming and fighting with every vet visit, here she was scared but very cooperative. This clinic is very affordable and they only give you what you need. They cleaned my cat’s ears out in the clinic as best as they could so that the medication drops would be more effective. They even gave her the first dosing. She’s now also up to date on her vaccines. This office is 30 minutes away from where I live but it’s totally worth the drive. I’ll be taking her here for any of her needs.

Very responsive to my needs. Melody had a ruptured anal gland. Never happened before. I thought it was a hot spot. Dr Ravi took a look and knew immediately what it was. I received medications and Melody is feeling better in less than 24 hrs. Staff called asking about Melody and answered the question I had. I am grateful for their care and follow-up. It means a lot! Thank you. ❤️
