Such a great experience! Everyone was lovely and Dr. Masterson really was so knowledgeable and kind The inside of the facility is nice as well! Very obviously clean and comfortable, even for my baby girl. The experience of getting her set up as a new patient was super easy and smooth, there were no issues at all! And it was so much more affordable than I'd been worried about I'm so glad to have found this place and that my girls have a new primary care that I can trust.

Caring Hands of Merrifield is a wonderful clinic. Everyone there is so kind. Dr. Martin is amazing and her technician Lauryn is great. They went above and beyond to love on my dog and make sure she was not afraid and that it was a good experience. Dr. Martin is always so patient and answers any questions and addresses any concerns at all that I have. You can tell she truly cares about my dog and it makes a difference.

Their expertise, compassion, and genuine dedication made an emotional experience so much easier even I was calling them from Texas where I reside now. After my cat was found following eight months missing, the staff handled everything—from the first phone call to the full medical checkup, updated vaccinations, and overall wellness evaluation—with remarkable speed, professionalism, and kindness. The nurses kept me informed at every step and followed up on my cat’s condition with such clarity that I never felt the need to ask additional questions. Even when they briefly placed me on hold to consult with a doctor, it was never more than a minute or two. Their pricing was extremely reasonable, especially considering the urgency of my situation. They had every opportunity to charge more, but they chose fairness and integrity instead. If you visit Caring Hands Animal Hospital, you will leave feeling confident, supported, and truly cared for. Brought my dog in for hair loss on his ears. He has seasonal flank alopecia but this seemed different so I brought him in to get it checked. The Vet said she didn’t really notice the hair loss, which I found odd as it’s really noticeable. I left my recent appointment feeling rushed, and I didn’t feel that my concerns were fully addressed. Afterward, I consulted another veterinarian who took more time to explain what might be going on and provided a detailed treatment plan. We ultimately learned that my dog likely has allergies causing hair loss on his ears which is separate from his seasonal alopecia and could have been treated at Caring Hands. I also asked for a specific, short-term anxiety medication for my dog’s significant car-ride anxiety before an upcoming long trip, but the request was declined without much explanation beyond being told to increase sedation. Overall, the visit didn’t feel supportive or informative, and I left disappointed.

My senior Bernese Mountain Dog loves all the attention he gets when he goes for a visit! The doctors and staff truly treat their patients with caring hands and caring hearts! Their follow up calls and emails show how much they care about my pet's health. I wanted to share my experience regarding my dog’s recent care. We initially brought our dog in January for a paw infection, and unfortunately, the condition worsened after that visit. At the time, we were unable to see Dr. An, who is our dog’s regular veterinarian. Once we were able to schedule an appointment with Dr. An, the experience was completely different. She was incredibly thorough in her examination, clearly knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. Her expertise and attention to detail were evident, and she made us feel confident that our dog was finally receiving the right care. I truly cannot say enough positive things about Dr. An. She is consistently informative, compassionate, and helpful. We are very grateful for her dedication and the excellent care she provides. My first time coming to Caring Hands. My experience here was phenomenal. As soon as i walked in i was greeted and taken care of. I had the pleasure of Dr Masterson taking care of my dog blueberry. She was attentive and very gentle with handling her and giving her all her vaccines. I will be coming back and making this my official vet. Highly recommend to any pet parent in need of a professional vet.
