we take all four of our dogs to Banfield. We have always been pleased with the results, the staff and the service. We also use their insurance because we travel and there's always a PetSmart with a Banfield nearby, which great piece of mind.

I love the Staff here and would highly recommend them for their expertise and bedside manner. The only reason I am deducting 2 stars is because Banfield as a Corporate keeps forcing them to try and upsale me on care every time I drop my dogs off. This recent time would have come up to nearly $500 in upsold products, each worded as if it is something a loving parent would get for their pet. Banfield, why are you offering me "better" anesthesia for my dog... does this mean rhe one I get with the Care package isn't actually good enough? If pets "should have" these upsales, why arent they included in my premium plan? Again, the staff here is incredible. This Corporate pushed upsaling is offensive and predatory.

You can't beat the staff or the doctors. They always remember my dogs names. I can't say enough about them . Ive been going there since they opened.

Avoid this place at all costs if you want quality pet care!! One day recently, I came home from work and my dog was throwing up blood uncontrollably. I raced him to Banfield, since I was an account holder at the time. Their 'hours' had ended fifteen minutes prior to my arrival, but the "veterinarians" and front desk staff were all still there. I explained my situation as my dog threw up on their floor. The employee behind the front desk was completely unsympathetic and explained that there was no way they could help me since they were closed. She said condescendingly "I would have to turn the cash register back on, isn't that right doc?" The vet smirked, and said "That's right", then STEPPED OVER a bloody spot on the floor where my dog was and headed out the door without looking once in my direction. I was too heartbroken to react the way I felt inside, and quickly researched and brought my pet to a caring LOCAL vet service. If you clicked the drop down to read this far, take this lesson; if you want a good life for your pet like I do, find a trusted local vet and don't trust this CORPORATION. The name is Banfield Pet Hospital, but Hospital does not describe the nature or quality of their work.

Glad to be done with Banfield Pet Hospital. Two of the vets and some other staff members were friendly, but overall very dissatisfied with the service and care of my senior dog. The so called "Optimum Wellness Plan" is a plan to simply make more money when you decide to cancel it. When abnormalities showed up on test results from lab work done for my little fella Dr. John Griese didn’t bother to explain anything thoroughly and sadly I had to initiate contact to ask questions in detail after being told my dogs kidneys were failing. Also had to make them do a test to actually check out his kidneys. Seriously, what are we paying monthly on the plan for if they don’t actually provide good service for what is needed? And what about basic decency to communicate with people? Made sure to see another vet there and with more testing that I stated will be done at least she put forth effort to explain some things. He was put on kidney care food but after a while my dog refused to eat it. Explained this to them and they recommended other brands in PetSmart, but explained that I had tried others and he refused to eat the food and he is generally not a picky eater. I done some research and asked about a reputable company who makes kidney care food but I would need a prescription so could I get one. I was told "we have never heard of that company." Okay, so no effort whatsoever to at least inquire about it and do something to help with a prescription. Found good quality food for my boy on my own. Moving on, I recently had them check my dog due to issues with his anal glands. He was on antibiotics and was to be rechecked to see if things had cleared up and I also requested that his kidneys be checked again because at least I would know where we are concerning his health in that aspect. I take him in the other day and they bring him back out and say "He wasn’t having it today so we didn’t check anything. We just gave him his vaccinations. Maybe can check him later on." Okay, so can’t work with a little senior dog? WOW! Good bye Banfield! More than happy to find better quality service and care for my precious little fella!

For all of you out there looking for a veterinary team that is truly committed - one that goes above and beyond, especially when dealing with chronic or specialized care needs, Dr. Williams and the entire Banfield Evansville team are truly exceptional and you will need to look nor further.
