The Animal Clinic

All the staff were very nice, thorough, and friendly! Place is very clean and organized. Spacious exam rooms, safe, and quieter. I appreciated the separate waiting rooms for dogs and cats. And the tv was actually very valuable with information! I was taken same day for a slight emergency with my cat who has never been seen there. Prices (like all vets) were pricey, BUT they are on the CHEAPER side, opposed to other places i have been to. And they didn't pressure me at all for any additional services or treatment. They let me make decisions financially for myself, which was really appreciated. They also accept Cherry and Credit Care. I got approved for Cherry, even being financially lower and poor credit. They also allowed me to get flea and tick treatment for two other animals they haven't seen, which some vets wouldn't do. They answered my million questions, didn’t rush me, helped me and demonstrated medication giving, were gentle and caring with my cat. I would highly recommend this place. And the app is very nice as well. I don’t have a single bad thing to say. Truly! Thank you guys!

Our puppy broke her leg. Dr S splinted it and we went back like every two weeks to resplint. Very good prices, considering no one in town wanted to touch the pup and wanted to send us to Buffalo. The leg is perfect and you can’t tell she ever broke it. Dr S really is a kind hearted Dr with his patients best interests in mind. I recommend this place to my friends and keep it a secret from everyone else cause they are like a hidden treasure to us. We also see Dr. jakel (sorry if I butched that name) but he helped our Rottie with conjunctivitis and keeping a cold from moving to her lungs. She was very contagious so they made every precaution to keep everyone safe. I can’t say this enough. THANK YOU!!! P.S. Birdie, you rock girl.

Prices seem to have doubled in the last three years. I initially switched over to The Animal Clinic when I was price shopping for teeth cleaning about three years ago. My dogs teeth have worsened again and when the provided a quote, it was double what I paid the first time. I also believe I was misquoted for the cost of a routine visit. The receptionist had gone over options on the phone ahead of the appointment, and after the visit when it was time to pay my bill, it was about $100 higher than discussed. I may be switching to another Vet.

After another well known veterinary practice compromised the health of my dog, I was lucky enough to get an appointment with the Animal Clinic and Dr. Hallowell. The receptionist was very welcoming and extremely helpful getting my dog's medical records transferred. Kathryn, the vet tech, was very knowledgeable and patient. The doctor explained everything thoroughly and answered every question I had. I have complete confidence in his assessment. If you are going to a practice where they are more interested in making money and doing test after test then your pet's well being, you might want to check out this one.
