I wholeheartedly recommend them! I called them in a moment of panic when my puppy accidentally ingested some medication. They were kind, calm and accommodating. Got him in promptly, coordinated with animal poison control and we're able to intervene. They were upfront with cost estimations, answered any questions I had and included me in each step of the plan of care. During his hospitalization I interacted with two of the doctors and multiple staff members. All were professional and took excellent care of my boy.
I have nothing bad to say about Erie Animal Hospital. Cooper sees Dr. Ventrello the majority of the time, from ER visits to normal exams. She's always been kind, answered all of my questions, and has been gentle with my big guy. I usually get an appointment within a good time frame and a couple times I was even squeezed in. Cooper still gets nervous but I believe he likes it here. Upon reading all of the Vet bios, not only do most of the doctors have a long history of experience, but they are also animal lovers. I like to know that their profession was chosen due to a love of animals, and not on income. This is very important to me. I may be a paranoid dog mom, but better safe than 1 less family member.
Amazing! I don’t usually write reviews but this vet office is so caring. All the receptionist are extremely nice and the vets here care a lot. My cat wasn’t even a regular of theirs and my regular vet could not get her in for an emergency and they made time on an afternoon on a Saturday to see her! unfortunately, now she’s having some problems related to that emergency visit and they have been so kind and thorough while we’re trying to diagnose her. Literally the best vet I’ve been to! I will be transferring all my pets here.
We had a great experience at Erie Animal hospital. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We saw Dr. Ventrillo and she was thorough and very kind. She took her time and explained everything. She discussed treatment options with the pros and cons and took our opinion as to what would be the best option for treatment. Any follow up questions were addressed quickly and were very well explained. Everyone there was very considerate and sensitive to our cats needs and comfort. I'm very happy that we chose this facility to care for our cat.
First of all I have been a long time client here and have had a number if issues thru out the years. But continued to go which I regret now. I would 10 OUT OF 10 not recommend this vet at all. Do yourself a favor and find a better vet one who cares. I Always have to sit in their for 45mins to a hr before seen if im lucky. I have been there for a couple hours before even. I have a new puppy and was going to be 8 mins late and they canceled my appt and tried to reschedule me to a time they preferred earlier in the day. Even tho I called to let them know I was going to be 8 mins late. And was told it was to close to the 10mins they allow for being late. Never have I been late before. This is after I had to wait 2 weeks to be seen. Will be taking all 3 my animals elsewhere. Done with this this place.
This is quite possibly the worst establishment ever. I brought my dog benji there a few months ago. Telling them my dog is shaking. Not barking anymore. Has rashes on his skin. Others i wont name. They told me it will be thousands of dollars to do an x ray and some blood work. They are scammers. They know whats wrong with the dog but only want to make money thats it. I wouldnt recommend this animal hospital to my worst enemy. This is where pets go to die. Never will i ever take any of pets there.
Our cats and dogs are not just pets, they are members of our families. We trust them to the professionals at the Erie Animal Hospital the same way we trust the health of ourselves and our children to our family doctor. They are skilled, knowledgeable professionals and treat us with respect and compassion. All seven cats and three dogs over 25 years have been cared for by EAH. From beginning to end, the staff has been there to travel with us around the Circle of Life. Thank you EAH!
