Coastal Animal Hospital

Over the past three years I have used coastal Hospital for all of my dogs needs and have found them to be both knowledgeable, efficient and very kind. My dog became very ill with cancer and they provided not only very detailed information but provided caring and support during a difficult time for his end of life. I highly recommend them or anyone who loves their dog and wants genuine compassionate care.

As always Dr. Clark was very engaging and Hap continues to do well since getting his new medication. Also we feel so welcomed every time we arrive for our appointment. And we love your new location!!! Many thanks!!

I LOVE Dr Henkels! She takes such amazing care of my cats including my difficult cat Kiki. The staff even put us on a quiet room alone while we were waiting because Kiki has so much trauma from veterinary experiences. I thick Dr Henkels provides such amazing trauma informed care for Kiki. So glad she is our vet!

Love everyone at Coastal Animal Hospital and my dog loves to go there too, in fact Dr. Clark has to carry her out and put her in the car, because she doesn’t want to leave. A lot of love and good vibes there.

The staff is very unpleasant. The lady on the phone was talking me over the whole time not letting me to finish my story. I literally repeated 3X that: 1) I was NOT looking for diagnosis or meds prescriptions for my cat without physical exam (!), meanwhile she was interrupting and gaslighting me. 2) All I was asking for was to do FaceTime call with the doctor (which I would pay for) to explain why I need a pee test for my cat. The kitty is too stressed out in the car. I would NOT drive him to the clinic to collect his pee bcuz he won’t be able to pee at the new place specially when he is so stressed out (based on the cat history). I asked to requested a simple kit for pee test (every clinic has it) to collect his urine at home and bring it to the clinic. And only THEN upon on a physical exam, the doctor would be able to examine the cat and have his pee results! All I asked was to make an exception in this case bcuz I do NOT wanna drive my car twice and add more stress to him. Very disappointing experience over the phone with the lady at the front desk.

Staff called me after same day cancellation and let us come in sooner. In my opinion saved our pups life by identifying the cancer and allowing us to get care before spread. Our pup gets hyped because the staff are hyped with everyone and have an awesome attitude that make pets happy and thus make pet parents happy.

It’s hard to find a good vet now a day. I can tell you that during my dogs appointment I was treated with respect and my dog was treated with kindness. We were taken into an exam room and I was allowed to stay with my pet, no questions asked. The table was draped with a clean towel for my dog to sit/lay on. The vet & vet assistant let me help keep my dog calm while checking her ears. They even brought a camera machine into the exam room to look into my pets ears. I really felt calm and at home, my dog was at ease because I was allowed to stay with her. You just don’t know how much this means to us. To add, they don’t charge a lg fee to use the ear camera machine like some other places. I really felt like the prices were fare. The Vet and Vet assistant were knowledgeable and friendly. No one pressured me into getting services that we didn’t need. They seem to really care about their patients and customers. We finally found our new veterinarian. Thank you so much for a stress free appointment.
