If you are looking for an amazing Vet with amazing staff for your fur baby look no further. Let me tell you they all will go the extra mile for your pet. Here are my experiences. Dr Freund saved my Newfies life from a spay gone wrong (Initial surgery done by different vet) he opted for exploratory surgery and fixed the issue along with supportive care (x-ray, fluids, meds ect.. ). My great Pyrenees got parvo and ended up being hospitalized for almost a week. Her WBC went too low. We were told to prepare ourselves but the staff and Dr. Freund still fought for her. She had to stay over the weekend and the vet techs Christina and Diamond worked tirelessly over the weekend constantly checking in on her Dr Freund also made some late night visits. Thanks to their dedication she recovered! I went to pick her up and the staff Valerie and Elsa were so kind and patient while I asked a million and one questions. I send everyone I know who asks me where to take their pet. The only Veterinarian we will go to. We don't even live in El Paso but the drive is worth it for the best care our fur babies could get. They are dedicated to your pet and the prices are absolutely reasonable. Thank you Coronado Animal Clinic you all are truly angels!

Dr. Freund is the best vet . He’s been our family vet for over 20 years. He is experienced and knows exactly what your pet needs . Doesn’t charge you for extras that are unnecessary. Trust that you are getting the best care for your pet. His staff is friendly especially Priscilla giving extra attention and detail to loving on your pets when you’re not there . Recently my dog got eye removal and now 20 days post op she’s completely back to normal :)photo below is just 2 days post op!

The doctor is very nice and patient. However, there is an "office cat" that roams around off leash. It was sitting in one of the chairs in the waiting room when we got there. I have a retired racing greyhound who can’t be near cats, as he is very prey driven. I was pretty shocked that they keep it in the lobby… not even behind the reception area. They also made no effort to move the cat after telling them it’s a problem. Disappointed we can’t come back.

My dogs and I think Dr Freund and his staff are excellent. They have been caring for my pets for many years and I have never been disappointed in going there. Prices are reasonable and more affordable than any other Veterinarian I've been to.

The day I had to put my dog down I was extremely distraught. I called everywhere and it seemed like every place was more concerned with my money. I eventually found this place and they facilitated the process without any frills or upsell pitches. They treated us with respect and even allowed us the room to grieve after the fact. Thank you to all the staff that helped us out.

I drove over an hour to visit this vet clinic, and from the moment I walked in, I was attended to immediately. The clinic is spotless and beautifully maintained, which instantly put me at ease. I was really nervous bringing my cat here because of a past traumatic experience with another vet — I lost my beloved dog after she was treated for a simple paw injury, and that still weighs heavy on me. But this experience was completely different. The vet was incredibly kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring — like something you’d only expect to see in movies. I felt truly supported and understood, and honestly, it moved me to tears. I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful place and a vet who truly cares about my pets’ well-being. Even though it’s quite far from home, I will be bringing all my pets here from now on without hesitation. This clinic was highly recommended to me, and I can’t recommend it enough based on my experience. Thank you for restoring my faith in veterinary care.
