VCA Kickingbird Animal Hospital

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the staff at VCA Kickingbird. They consistently take the time to build trust with our pets before completing any procedures, which makes a meaningful difference in reducing their stress and anxiety during visits. This is the third veterinary office we have tried, and we have confidently decided to stay. We are especially grateful for Dr. McFarland and Dr. Schneider, and the entire team’s professionalism, compassion, and dedication to exceptional care.

We had set an appointment for our senior cat and the receptionist was very kind and considerate when we arrived! Got us into a room swiftly and offered water. Dr. McFarland saw us for the appointment and was amazing about explaining his examination and pricing! Would highly recommend this clinic ♥️

This place offered a great exam on the first visit, which was great. The front desk Staff were very welcoming. The nurse was pleasantly nice as well. I asked if they could shave some mat off her tummy he just been neutered nearly a week ago. It was advised he checked out afterwards. They never stated whether it would be a charge for this service. He had harden ..... In the back end area. They never acknowledged the tummy area. Stated they could shave the booty part. Approximately 2 inches were shaved on one side! The charge was $32. I find this over priced for the service!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the entire staff at VCA Kickingbird. We have been going to them since we got our first pup in 2020 & we will continue to seek regular care for our fur-babies there because of the incredible service they’ve provided over the years. We had to put one of our dogs down 2 years ago unexpectedly and Dr. McFarland, Dr. Schneider & Dr. Harper, as well as all of the techs were incredibly empathetic, caring & patient with us throughout the entire process. We feel so lucky that our dogs (even our anxious one) look forward to going to the vet!

Our two pups are always well cared for by the entire staff at VCA Kickingbird! This particular visit, the techs were very calm, loving and patient with our nervous dog. The vet spent so much time with us, answering questions as well as going above and beyond in explaining the way the treatment worked and its safety, which is important to me. So grateful to have this practice for our dogs!

We had to put our beloved doodle Reggie down unexpectedly. It was heartbreaking, but Dr. Harper handled everything so compassionately and carefully. We were all in tears in those final moments. That is exactly as it should be and we are so grateful. They handled everything.

I brought my cat in for his first visit and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff was so kind and patient with both of us, and they made sure to explain everything clearly without rushing. My cat was treated with such gentle care, and the vet made me feel completely at ease. They answered all my questions and made the whole visit stress-free. You can tell they genuinely care about animals here. Highly recommend!
