After being a patient at this vet clinic for over 15+ years, I’m extremely disappointed with how unprofessional and rude the front desk staff have become. Scheduling an appointment always feels like an inconvenience to them, and their attitude toward longtime clients is unacceptable. Don’t expect any compassion or help if you need an emergency or same-day appointment — you’ll most likely be met with EXTREME attitude and turned away. The receptionists avoid giving their names, which says a lot on its own. One in particular, the woman with the glasses, was CONSISTENTLY dismissive and unpleasant. Never even a simple greeting when you walk in for your scheduled appointment. A veterinary office should treat both pets and owners with care and respect, especially loyal clients of years. Unfortunately, the front desk staff here make the entire experience stressful and unwelcoming. We have decided to take our business elsewhere, and you should too!
My beautiful Tango! We miss you so much. Dr. Katz took amazing care of our girl while on her final journey across the Rainbow Bridge. Every week, we took Tango in for shots, treatments, appointments. Dr. Katz made every conceivable attempt to help Tango feel better, including Reiki! Acupuncture! And vitamins! We love these vets. They are caring, gentle, empathetic, experts and kind-hearted. We received a beautiful condolence card from Dr Katz+Dr Turetsky and news that they had made a charitable donation in Tango's name for more veterinarian studies. Lovely pet care!
Doctors Turetsky and Katz and their staff, including Bridget and Malin and Sofie are superb! I am moving to Charleston SC from Sag Harbor NY after almost 3 decades in North Haven and my dogs and cats will miss them. My current pet is Diddy and I just had a full check up and obtained his records before I move. The way I describe doctors Turetsky and Katz and their animal practice is out "outstanding". They are knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and reassuring. They have great treatment modes and methods at their disposal. But they only use those that are necessary. My dogs (RIP), cats (RIP) and now Diddy have been in very capable hands! Judge Faraguna April 2025
There was an emergency with our service dog and we went to the first recommended place and the welcome we got was ghastly . Our son needs the service dog and we were worried something happened after the accident this morning. We literally begged for an audience with the vet but the receptionist was very very unfriendly and literally kicked us out . At a veterinary hospital there Should be care and good vibes and help to people who need it at that time . It Dosent matter how good of a vet you are if you don’t care about animals in need then you are worth nothing . I feel sorry for the people going to this clinic . The last time I am ever going there.
Took good care of our dog. Not a regular customer, but fit us in for a small emergency right away. The doctor and all the girls were so nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend
I couldn’t agree more with those noticing that the receptionist has been rude for several years. As a matter of fact, she’s so rude that it’s almost funny to call them. I even wrote them an email (which I am sure she’ll receive but I hope they’ll be nicer in the future).
My dog who is a repeat patient was unethically refused previously prescribed medication to help him while he howled in back pain and they could not see him for many days. Disgusted by their lack of care and flexibility for an animal in pain. The receptionist could not be any ruder as she screamed at me and put the phone down rather than trying to find a solution.
