I love taking my 4 cats here. Everybody at Eagan Pet Clinic is super helpful, very kind and very caring. From the moment we walk in, to the moment we leave it’s nothing but love that my animals have for them and that they have for my animals. I’ve never had a bad experience here and I see how well they take care of others. They have a lot of professionalism and they take pride in what they do I wouldn’t take my animals anywhere else but here.
Eagan Pet Clinic is absolutely wonderful! From the moment we walked in, the staff was so warm, welcoming, and caring. Everyone took the time to make sure our dog felt comfortable and that we understood each step of the visit. Our Vet was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. The clinic is clean, organized, and you can tell the whole team genuinely loves what they do. It’s such a comfort knowing our pet is in such good hands. We’re so thankful for Eagan Pet Clinic and highly recommend them to anyone looking for kind, professional, and trustworthy care for their pets!
We have been taking our little dog Kovu to Eagan Pet Clinic for 11 years now. They have given him exceptional care over the years. Dr. Schowalter is his primary care vet and she is wonderful with him. She really takes her time with him and tries to get him to be less nervous and more comfortable with her. She is also a good listener and takes her time with us. Kovu has also seen other vets at this clinic for urgent care stuff over the years and they all are very caring and supportive. The receptionists and technicians are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this clinic. This message is Kovu approved!!
I’ve been taking my dogs to Eagan Pet clinic since 1985. The veterinarians are stellar. Very knowledgeable and gentle with our dogs. They discuss in layman’s terms. I cannot say enough about the vet techs. They go above and beyond to make the visits "not so scary" I adopted a super anxious, reactive German Shepherd, at our first visit they fed her baby food chicken to let her know that everything will be okay. 🥰
We are very grateful for the staff at Eagan Pet Clinic we brought our beloved cat for end of life services here. The private room was very comfortable and made the process a little easier. The staff was very kind, empathetic and always professional. One of the hardest decisions we had to make, and we were able to hold him all the way to the end. After a previously traumatic experience at the humane society with my family cat's euthanasia, if you find yourself at the terrible point in your pet's life where ending their suffering is a decision you have to make this is a place to consider. Our hearts go out to you. This was also the vet we brought our kitty throughout his life and we were always very happy with his care. We loved that they referred to him as an 'elderly gentleman' always brought a smile to our face.
We started going to Eagan Pet Clinic since we got our golden retriever puppy, Sunny. We had a dog many years ago and just went to the Vet inside the mega pet store (everyone should know what I mean (-; ). This time around, we knew we wanted to go somewhere locally owned and heard great things about Eagan Pet Clinic. I cannot tell you how kind, patient, generous, caring, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive every member of the staff is! Truthfully, I didn’t realize how insufficient the Petstore Vet was until I saw how well we are taken care of and how loved Sunny is at Eagan Pet Clinic. Sunny is one now, and is as wild as they come; all the staff just love him through his craziness and lack of training (it’s on my never-ending list of things to do! Ha!) He never has accidents at home but ALWAYS pees at the Vet, and they graciously clean it up like it never happened. The receptionists TEXT, which is great for people like me who don’t like talking on the phone. They’ve given Sunny countless, free, kong toys just because. They don’t push vaccines or tests, rather they inform and let me decide what I want. Sunny got neutered yesterday and they called first thing this morning to see how he was doing. At his pre-op appointment they told me what to tell our 10 year old daughter to expect him to look/act like after surgery so she can prepare (so she’s not shocked). ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! Everyone is phenomenal but we especially love Vet Tech Megan - she explains things extra thoroughly, loves on Sunny and is so incredibly compassionate and patient. The same goes with Dr. Bowman - but alllll the Vets and techs are exceptional. I promise you, your pet will feel loved from the second you walk into Eagan Pet Clinic - and that’s exactly what we want for our {furry} family members.
I came to this clinic after moving to Eagan when my laborador had recently suffered a broken leg. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was directed to return every 4 days to have the dressings changed. After that, it would be a day or two before the splint began to fall off, and after a number of weeks and having new x-rays taken, one of their vets advised me that I would need to have her (my dog) leg amputated because the break had not healed sufficiently. I felt quite distraught at this point. The vet gave me information about tri-paws, a support/information group for pet owners of three legged animals. There was also some muffled mention that she would talk to a surgeon. Luckily my family intervened here and suggested I visit another clinic. Upon visiting the other clinic, the diagnosis was completely different. He said that we had three options, and amputation was not on the table. We chose to keep the leg in a splint for another 4 weeks and keep the dog crated to minimize her movement (We were previously told we should still walk her, but carefully). The new vet said that he would double check the dressing at 2 weeks, (instead of the previous 4 day intervals) and that the splint was falling off because the other clinic simply did not use tape to secure it (called a stirrup). My experience at Eagan Pet Clinic was less than desirable to say the least. It is likely that their treatment of my animal lead to the slow healing which was then the basis for a suggestion of an unnecessary amputation which also cost close to $800 in total visits. Also, I find it questionable that they do not allow people to attend to their animals during treatment. My dog made a full recovery following my switch to a different clinic and is happy and healthy.
