VIDA Veterinary Care - Denver

I have been coming here with Tank for years. They diagnosed a Respiratory Infection after another vet used by Petco cleared Tank from a Vitamin A Deficiency. We chose to perform inject ourselves but received great instructions. It’s been 6 years since that traumatic experience but Vida Vetscares staff was amazing throughout the whole process. This was before they had a real Herpetologist or even an exotic pets specialist, and even still they did all their research and got us the help and tools we needed to save Tank. I love that they check Tanks heart beat every year.

Vida is the best!! I switched to them years ago because even though I rarely take my dog in- she has been healthy and mainly go for yearly checkups- I feel like family. They are extremely friendly and patient and I feel like my dog and I are the most important part of their day. The Dr spend the time with you, answer questions etc. I highly highly recommend. Thank you Dr Gellate for your wonderful care yesterday and your assistant whose name I forgot!

I was in Denver from out of state for several weeks while my spouse was being treated at a hospital here. I had a couple of urgent care issues come up with my dogs. The staff and doctors at Vida were amazing. Friendly, professional, kind, and very helpful! They went above and beyond to meet my dogs’ needs and make my situation here easier. Highly, highly recommend.

I've been a loyal customer with this vet for at least 18 years, from back when it was called University Hills Animal Hospital and was housed in a tiny building across the street. Even when I moved to Aurora, I continued to bring my dogs to Vida because of the terrific hours- 7am-7pm- variety of available services, clean facility, and kind staff. Yesterday, however, I decided to find a new vet because of a series of negative events with a new doctor involving a pretty intense misdiagnosis, an unnecessary, very expensive x-ray, and at least 2 of the 4 appointments over a period of 2 weeks were unnecessary. Suffice it to say, it was just too much.

Update 11/22/23 - I have brough all my cats here and they all have received wonderful care, they do a great job of being up front and transparent about pricing. Both of my cats were here purring away, the staff is so incredible and caring. 11/24/22 - I had to bring my cat in on Thanksgiving night, they were more than understanding and caring. They ran bloodwork, determined the best course of action and were very open and transparent about pricing and options I had. Ultimately we had to put my cat down, they let me spend as much time as I needed with her and were very respectful and caring. Everyone I came into contact here was so nice and compassionate. I came to pick up her ashes a few days later, they even were able to fufill my request of having a nose print instead of a paw print. They included a very sweet handwritten card that I really appreciated. I will gladly bring my other cat here for care.

I have been taking my 3 dogs to Vida Vet care for years now and have received nothing but the best care. The staff are incredibly kind and patient with my dogs and always make sure they are comfortable with what they are doing. My dogs have had procedures done here from a spay to two mass removals and all surgeries have gone well and my dogs healed up great. I also love that I can reach them via email with questions that I don't need urgently answered. I seriously cannot say enough about the wonderful staff and their care of my dogs who are my family.

Thank you so much for taking care of Dooby. I was extremely nervous and emotional through this whole process, but your team truly gave me peace of mind. Seeing her recovering, eating, walking around and acting more like herself again means everything to me. I’m very grateful for the care, patience, and kindness you showed both of us 🤍
