This hospital and staff are AMAZING. I lost my 2 year old dog this week. I brought him in knowing something was wrong just not how bad it was. They scheduled to run a bunch of tests on him but after realizing he had an aggressive cancer they called and told me the news. Dr. Oliver gave me the option to continue the testing but told me she knew what it was without running further tests. Essentially saving me tons of money. I've been to other places and know for a fact they would have ran those test to sky rocket the bill but that was NOT the case here. I'm forever grateful to them and will use them when I decide to get my next dog. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this establishment to anyone who truly loves their animals.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am so impressed with the care and service I received this week when I had to take my 14-year-old Chihuahua to the ER. From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind, compassionate, and treated my dog with genuine care and respect. During a very stressful situation, the entire team made us feel supported and well cared for. I was especially impressed with Dr. Malishkin. She was caring, extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. You could tell she truly knew what she was doing and genuinely cared about her patients. What stood out to me the most was the detailed report she provided after our visit. She documented everything so thoroughly and thoughtfully, more than I have ever experienced before. To me, that level of attention to detail shows someone who is truly passionate about their work and committed to providing excellent care. I couldn’t be happier that we ended up at VCA. I am incredibly grateful to the entire team, and especially to Dr. Malishkin, for the compassion and professionalism they showed both Charlie and me. Thank you for everything. ❤️🐾

Our 12-year-old Australian Shepherd/Heinz 57 dog couldn't keep anything down for a few days. We brought her in, and got the worst news possible. Dr. Lauryn was very gentle but up front about her options. She gave us time to prepare and say goodbye. The receptionist walked us through everything as our hearts were breaking. She was wonderful. When the time actually came, it was our choice. They gave us all the time we needed. It was painless and quick. They let us stay with her as long as we could handle. I just wanted some pepto for my baby girl, but they helped us through the worst loss we've had in a little while. They work with Lasting Paws, and they turned out to be just as good as the hospital. If you have to have your heart break for your baby, they do it with care. Thank you, everyone, for taking care of Bonnie.

I love this place and can't recommend them enough. We see Dr. Steen as our primary vet and we absolutely love him and his "paw" side manner. We also recently had an urgent injury and we ended up at the emergency side. We were able to consult with Ashley via call and text to get advice. She was wonderful and helpful. When we arrived the staff was doing a great job sorting and triaging patients with care and calm professionalism. It was a very busy night for them, and the wait was quite long, but the staff was super involved and kept us informed and apologized repeatedly. Dr. Hilty took such good care of our dog. She was educational and respected our own medical knowledge. She actually ended up saving us a ton of money from a quote we received from another vet. They even bandaged our puppy up with little hearts on her bandage!! 💚🩷 I'm so very thankful for this place!!

I took my dog to this emergency vet due to concern for a GI obstruction after normal vet business hours, as she had vomited 2x and was acting uncharacteristically lethargic, seeming to be in pain. Dr. A. Yeager thoroughly evaluated her and quickly diagnosed the problem, which was actually not GI-related (ruled out on X-ray) -- rather, it turned out to be an abdominal muscle strain. My dog is scared of most strangers, but the doctor treated her gently and with care in the exam room. My dog felt much better after receiving a pain injection and some home pain meds, and 1 week later is back to her normal self. The check in/check out process and pharmacy pickup process was seamless. I would trust this vet with after hours care for my dog again.

It’s never fun having to go to a place like this. But we say dr Yeager on a busy Friday night and she was amazing. Made the best out of a not ideal situation. Over all everything was done great and I appreciate all the staff at this location.

The best of the best! In June my dog had surgery with Dr Emch and there’s a few things that stood out time and time again. 1, Dr Emch was always upfront and honest with cost. No hidden fees or costs, she worked with my finances and she always ensured whatever route we took his care would be the top priority. 2, Communication. Before, during and after his surgery the communication between herself and her team was top notch. Everyone was on the same page, knew the plan and knew what was needed - his care and recovery proved it. Her communication to me was incredible. From updates, to check ins she constantly ensured we were supported at every stage, which is such a huge help during a stressful time! 3, Her dedication. It is so obvious the joy, pride and love Dr Emch has for the job and her patients. She treats them like the valued family members that they are and cheers alongside owners when recovery begins. The time and commitment she gives to every animal is truly remarkable and continues to prove that she is there to see her patients get the best quality care. Dr Emch is truly the BEST in the field and there is no one else I’d trust more. Azzy is back to his wild, ball obsessed self because of everything she has done!🤍
