I cannot say enough wonderful things about Animal Emergency and Urgent Care Center in Deerfield. When we found two abandoned dogs and had nowhere to take them—after being turned away by multiple shelters—this team stepped in with open hearts. Even though they do not typically accept dogs, they made a compassionate exception and treated these two souls with so much kindness, patience, and genuine love. From the moment we walked in, we were met with empathy and understanding during an incredibly stressful and emotional situation. A special and heartfelt thank you to the receptionist and to Oscar — you are truly godsent. Your compassion, reassurance, and humanity made all the difference during a moment when we felt helpless. Your kindness will never be forgotten. The facility is clean, calm, and well-organized, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable. Most importantly, they truly care. They not only provided excellent care but are also helping with placement to ensure the dogs have a safe and loving future. Their willingness to go above and beyond speaks volumes about their character and values. I am deeply grateful for their humanity and compassion when it mattered most. If you are ever in need of emergency or urgent care for an animal, this is a place you can trust completely. Thank you for being a safe haven when no one else would. 💕🐶🐶

We are so incredibly grateful to the entire team for taking such great care of our cat Leo during a very stressful time. From start to finish, everyone was kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with, which made all the difference. Marina and Oscar last night were amazing. My cat had a seizure due to a diagnosed UTI. And immediately was put onto antibiotics. My girl is 14 years old and my world, and they definitely treated her like their own at 1am in the morning. Thank you!

I want to start by saying how amazing was Dr.Oscar and his Staff. I walked in with my frenchie Onyx and he was bleeding from his right eye. Within 30 seconds someone came out and started taking care of my baby boy. Unfortunately his eye had to be removed. They took such great care of him. He is doing and healing great thanks to the love and care they gave my boy. If you ever have an emergency for any of your babies, this is the place to go. Thank you AEUCC for doing such an amazing job with my baby Onyx.

Ana Beatriz did an amazing job with Rubbles’ teeth! She was professional, caring, and took great care of him throughout the entire process. His teeth look fantastic, and I could tell she genuinely cared about his comfort and well-being. I’m extremely happy with the results and the experience overall. If you’re looking for someone knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about what they do, I highly recommend Ana Beatriz. Thank you for taking such great care of my baby boy!

While on vacation I had to take my dog Walter here. We arrived around 1 am and were immediately assisted. Diagnostics only took about an hour. Unfortunately Walter had to stay the night but the night staff were reassuring that Walter would be in great care. The day staff were slow to give updates and I had to call which made me a bit worried but Walter was ready to go home the next day. The bright spot in the entire experience was Chantal who worked the desk during night shift. She was so kind, informative and caring. She was also able to get answers to all of my questions. I’m so thankful for the care Walter received. Here is a photo of Walter being discharged and happy to go home!

We had such a great experience with this urgent care team during our dog’s surgery. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly attentive, compassionate, and focused on making sure our dog felt as comfortable as possible. They truly went above and beyond. They took the time to answer all of our questions and address every concern, which gave us a lot of peace of mind during a stressful situation. A special thank you to Stacy—she was absolutely amazing. She made sure the surgeon was fully familiar with our dog’s case before we even arrived, which meant so much to us. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a team that genuinely cares about your pet and treats you with kindness and professionalism, this is the place to go.
