Simmons Veterinary Clinic

The staff and care at Simmons is amazing. Everyone is very friendly and I could tell that the interaction with my baby girls made them feel at ease. The doctor explained everything well and even gave me great suggestions on some behavioral issues with one of my girls. The location also feels like home and not like an uncomfortable sterile clinic. I needed to get my dog in right away but didn't have an Atlanta vet yet. Simmons got us in quickly. The facility is very clean and bright with free parking in the back and paid parking on the street. We were taken to a room as soon as we got there and saw the doctor quickly. I was apprehensive about cost as it's in downtown Decatur, but they are reasonable and gave me options. Dr. Mo was kind and knowledgeable and took a lot of time addressing my concerns. They called the next day to check up on us, and when I had questions, they got back to me quickly. In fact, I emailed a few days later and got responses from the doctor at the office that day and from Dr. Mo, who wasn't in the office, so I got double help! I feel like we covered all of our bases as far as treating my dog. She is old, so we're keeping her comfortable. I didn't feel pressured to get test after test after xray after supplement after prescription. I greatly appreciated that they gave me options and respected my approach to my dog's care. My girl is 15. I'm trying to keep her comfortable and happy, and I feel like Simmons is doing a great job helping with that goal. Looks like we found our Atlanta vet.

Just a great experience. We are long term rescue pet owners and know a good clinic when we see one. The customer service was excellent starting with appointment process. Then during our visit…Dr. Aubrey and tech Preston were very kind and professional with two of our rescue cats. The facility is also a beautifully renovated circa 1910 house which makes it even more of a pleasure to visit.

This is the best vet office on planet earth. Dr. Chris, Dr. Aubry, and Sharif are iconic. They bent over backwards to have a specialist come in to do our cat’s nose surgery after we got an insane quote from a specialist. Their prices are so much lower than other vets in the area, and they don’t try to upsell you in a weird predatory way like other places. They are honest and trustworthy and the only folks we trust with our babies.

This guy, who has slowed down a bit at age 12, just had a fantastic vet appointment at Simmons Veterinary Clinic in Decatur (a scant 16 minute drive for us in EAV). Our first time, and boy, it was amazing. From the vet, to the staff, to the pricing, it was easily the best vet experiences I've ever had in 40 years of being a dog dad. And, can I add how much I love checking out in the exam room! No more heading back to the front desk. Barney has found his new vet!

This was probably one of the best vet experiences I've ever had! My previous vet was wonderful as well, but after moving, I needed to find a clinic closer to home — and this place was perfect. The location offered easy parking, and the building itself was beautiful. I even enjoyed relaxing on the rocking chairs on the porch when I arrived early. They have a dedicated cat room, complete with a cat tree and toys, which was a thoughtful touch. Every staff member, from reception to the nurses and the veterinarian, was amazing. They showed so much care for my fur baby and even gave him cuddles! I highly recommend this clinic and will definitely be bringing my other cats here in the future.

This practice is great. Everyone is very friendly and everything is very clean and neat. Our dog LOVES the staff and Dr. Simmons is very knowledable and friendly as well. We have already recommended the practice to friends!
