Heritage Veterinary Hospital

These are exceptional people who take the time to make sure your pet isn’t scared during exams and treatment. I’ve been to a lot of vets, all of the country, and Heritage is the best. When I had to let my dog Gary go, he was never afraid, never even nervous, and he passed so peacefully. I will always be so grateful for their compassion, empathy and patience.

(This review is solely regarding the scheduling/reception process! My animals have not yet received care at Heritage.) I called Heritage to inquire if they were able to/experienced in surgical oncology. Amy, the receptionist, went above and beyond to give me recommendations for other providers and offices, and she was so kind, understanding, and patient with me while I explained my pet's situation. She also discussed my options with Heritage. Even though I am not a paying customer of Heritage, I could really tell that Amy cared about animals, and I would like to believe that Amy was reflective of the staff as a whole at Heritage. Thank you guys so much for your time.

Heritage Veterinary isn’t just another vet’s office. Once you bring your beloved pet there, whether it be a dog, an iguana, or a hamster, you become family. Your pet isn’t just a nameless, faceless appointment that the doctor rushes through as quickly as possible. They take time to address every concern, answer every question, but also give you an *honest* opinion, and not push surgery or other invasive procedures unless absolutely necessary. I’ve had four dachshunds over 23 years. There are people still working at Heritage who could recall all the quirks of the two who are no longer with us. Heritage will do anything and everything they can to make you and your beloved pet feel comfortable and taken care of. From the beginning of your pet’s life to the end, Heritage is there to hold you up. I simply cannot imagine enlisting the services of another veterinary practice, because Heritage doesn’t simply offer service, they offer love.

The veterinarians at this hospital are first rate. We actually transferred from another vet who missed an important diagnosis. These vets - they are all great - are very thorough and always spot on. The groomers are also the best - very easy to work with and they do a great job. One of our dogs is a Bichon, so grooming is essential - our Groomer, Mel, is top notch!

I went there for a groom with sedation, and on the intake forms that asked me for approval to attempt to revive my pet if they killed him and to agree to pay an extra $300 if they had to try. If I didn't agree they would let him die. Not the kind of organization I want to trust my babies to. Oh, and the receptionist was just as sweet as she could be through the whole exchange. Don't give these people business.

Took my pet here and had such a good experience. Everyone was super nice and made both me and my pet feel at ease. The vet was very patient and explained everything in a way I could understand. Definitely one of the best vet visits I’ve had!

Went in for arthritis for my 10-year-old Doodle and they were very kind Compassionate. Dr. Sanford is the bomb and showed very concerned for my dogs well-being highly recommend Future Veterinary needs.
