We recently switched to Rose Creek Animal Clinic and couldn’t be happier. Being a newer clinic in Herriman, they’ve already set a really high standard. What stood out right away was their transparency around pricing — no surprises, just clear communication upfront, which we really appreciated. On top of that, the level of care was excellent. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals and take their time with you. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience easy and comfortable. Excited to have them as our new vet and would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area.

I had such a positive experience with Dr. Wagstaff during my corgi mix’s appointment. She and her vet tech were patient, listened to all my concerns, and were great with my dog. Dr. Wagstaff was extremely thorough and even got on the floor to examine my dog so she wouldn’t have to stress about being put on the table. I never felt rushed or pressured to purchase the next best medication like I’ve had with past vet experiences. Prices were reasonable and comparable to other clinics in Salt Lake. Overall, the entire team was great and I highly recommend Canyons Veterinary to anyone! I can see why they’ve won Best of State multiple years.

This veterinarian's office is kind and caring to you and your pets. We have met with most of the vets here and love them all. I had to euthanize my dog and Tess was amazing! She was very kind and respected my relationship with my dog.

I am beyond upset and frustrated with Dr. Carmody. I took my elderly dog for a checkup on his quality of life. When she came inside, the first thing Dr. Carmody said to me was, "Euthanize him. He's suffering." There is a MUCH better way to communicate that to someone. She didn't even begin by asking me how he's doing, his quality of life, my concerns, or what I have been considering for him. She could never understand the amount of time, care, and love I have poured into my dog. To make matters worse, as I was crying she said, "I can do it today." To say that to someone in their most vulnerable state is appalling. I was prepared and ready to discuss euthanasia, but I was NOT prepared for such an unprofessional and inconsiderate interaction. Whether you are a healthcare provider for humans or animals, I expect you to have some form of empathy or consideration when talking to your customers in a difficult time. After just 4 minutes and not even petting my dog, she left. You can search my name and see I left a review 5 years ago. I have been coming here for 5 years for two dogs. I have been recommending this location to so many friends and family, and yet I am left with this disgusting last appointment for my elderly dog. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. If you truly care about and love your doggy bestfriend, do not let them see Dr. Carmody.

I just got a new puppy, Churro, and I am always hesitant in choosing a Vet but I absolutely adored Canyons. Right off the bat they were so responsive and easy to communicate with, answered all of my questions via text and got my little man scheduled. From the moment you walk in everyone is super friendly and welcoming and check in was a breeze. Since it was his first visit, in the room they had a cute Kong toy for him, the little things like that stand out to me (plus he loves his little Yak). Churro had a great first visit and I was greatly reassured by the staff and vibe the clinic gave off. He saw Dr. Lucy Wagstaff and she was super sweet and down to earth, got right on the floor to greet him. The clinic was clean and most importantly, since occasionally I have tight time constraints, they were very on time which I greatly appreciated. Very glad that we established with them and that I have a reliable place to trust with the health of my little fella!

I don’t live in SLC but was traveling with my dog and needed a vet. All the people at Canyons were absolutely amazing with me and mango. They make the appointment easy on the dog and are loving to them. Highly recommend

We took our dog here for an eye check up and a few lumps we were concerned about, and we aren’t from the area, just traveling through and we had the best experience!!! Our dog is super nervous and hates going to the vet - they were so slow and so caring and so accommodating for him. We’ve been to tons of vets because we travel a lot with him, and this is by far the best experience we’ve ever had, I wish we lived in Salt Lake City so we can take him here forever!! 100010 recommend Canyons Vet Clinic!’
