Our cat was completely healthy prior to visiting your facility to get spayed on October 16, 2025. She was fun-loving and full of life!! She was only 1.5 years old and perfectly healthy. Cake is now dead 3–4 days after the surgery. We took her to an emergency hospital, where they said she was in critical condition!! They spent a day trying to rehydrate her, and they did tests on her, which were negative. But, even though the tests were negative, they said she was just too far gone! My son and I are completely devastated. We cannot believe that we trusted you with part of our family and you killed her. 😣😖 ———————- Actually, Mesa West just responded and lied that we said no to blood tests. This is untrue. They did NOT offer them and then, when we found extra charges listed on our invoice, we asked if they were necessary before the surgery. They said no. They said the blood tests could be done at a later date at a future appointment. I am shocked that they are indirectly blaming our cat’s death on us when they were the ones who did this. And it’s not slander… The public should know what this place did.

I love mesa west pet hospital! Amazing Dr and nurses ! Got all my babies teeth cleaned and nails done !!! Definitely recommend everyone to check them out ! Honestly switching over from Banfield/VCA they actually treat me like a client and they actually heard my needs and concerns for my pets unlike the other hospital Mesa West pet hospital is the way to go !

Dr Lepera is a great doctor. I trust her with any of my animals. The veterinary field tends to be bashed because of the cost of services, unfortunately. However, i believe her prices are very similar with the animal hospitals surrounded ,but the quality of her medicine is excellent

My 16-year-old Chow had suddenly started declining. She’s a senior girl, and at that age every small change is scary. She wasn’t eating, she was weak, and we honestly thought we were losing her. We brought her to Mesa West Pet Hospital and met Dr. Lethicia Lepera and that’s when everything changed. Dr. Lepera didn’t do the "quick look and guess" that we’d seen in other places. She went all in. She ran thorough bloodwork and imaging in-house, right there at the hospital (they have their own lab and radiology on site), and started piecing together what was really going on instead of just treating the symptoms. After a full workup, she discovered that our Chow wasn’t "just old" she was actually dealing with serious kidney and liver issues that had been missed before. That deeper investigation is the reason our dog is still here. Dr. Lepera caught it in time, built a treatment plan around supporting those organs, adjusted her meds, and walked us through nutrition, comfort, and realistic long-term care.
