Banfield Pet Hospital

I had a disappointing experience at this location. I brought my 8 week old golden retriever there because she was not doing so good. When we got there they told us that they had an emergency and that we can leave her there and they’d call us when she was ready but it would take a couple hours. We told them that we weren’t from the area and they were able to accommodate. They ran a couple tests and she came back positive for parvo. When the Doctor came in he was very insensitive and told us and I quote "return her where you got her from because her chances aren’t good" and that all the puppies were going to die. I work in healthcare and this Dr didn’t seem to have any empathy at all. He gave us a referral to an ER and said they’re cheaper because they just opened which I found weird because come to find out their other location treats parvo. Dr. Grigoras Florin Cilmau left a very bad taste in my mouth and gave us 0 hope for our dog. I would definitely avoid this location or Dr. Girgoras Florin Cilmau I will say everyone in the front and the nurses were very nice but outside of that absolutely not. I’m at a different ER and they told us Sunny had a 90% chance of surviving with proper care

Great location friendly staff always so caring to my babies. The best doctor!

This precious lost dog came to my house alone in Margate off E. River Drive. She was super happy, loveable and friendly. She even got along with our 3 dogs. We bathed her and roamed the neighborhood to find her parents. I took her to Banfield to have her scanned for a chip and the staff was & is always willing to help. I called her owner, although she didn't seem to happy. I also offered to adopt her dog and discovered is named Cola. I was just doing the right thing and happy to reunite her with her family.

I have only good things to say about the team and doctors. Very professional, helpful and thorough. They always have a smile on the I like this Wiles Rd location better than other location near my house. They’re very efficient and always managed to solve issues ahead of time with the health of my chocolate lab or with my Belgian malinois dogs. Always diagnose correctly.

We recently brought our beloved 19-year-old cat to Banfield Pet Hospital to be put to sleep, and I can’t express enough gratitude for how kind and professional the staff was during such a heartbreaking moment. They showed genuine compassion from the moment we called — even making an exception to stay open a little longer so we could come in. The environment they created was peaceful and comforting — no wait time, everything handled gently and with care. It truly made this tragic goodbye as calm and loving as possible. A month later, we received a beautiful handwritten card personally signed by the team. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and showed how deeply they care about both their patients and their families. Thank you, Banfield, for treating our dear cat and our family with such empathy and respect. You made an unbearable moment a little easier to bear. ❤️

Everyone in this banfield location is so amazing, the receptionist, the nurses and doctors are so knowledgeable and friendly! When Initially got my puppy she got sick and I called every banfield in the area, everyone turned me away except for this location. They didn’t get me an appointment the same day but for the following day and I was extremely grateful because the front desk girl constantly called me to keep me updated on their schedule and being a new dog mom it meant the world to me. This location is 25 minutes away from my house but I continue to make the drive because they take the time to listen! I refuse to take my dog anywhere else because I know my dog is in the best hands! So much so that my dog loves coming to the vet because she gets all the attention. My dog is part of the wellness plan and it’s a great investment. It will save you tons of money. The wellness plan is not Insurance but it sure helps! I am a helicopter dog mom so trusts me when I tell you. THIS IS THE BEST VET FOR YOUR PETS! Thank you girls for always being the best for my kiwi 💚🥝

I would give this location a five star review because the manager and the doctors are all amazing team, however there is a receptionist in the front desk that is extremely rude, whenever I have visited this location she is just extremely rude in person and over the phone as well.
