Been going here for years, my pets have been well taken care of. The vets are kind and professional. They've introduced fees for paying by credit card. I'm sure they have their own in house financing they want to push people towards, and that's fine. But asking customers who are paying 2,500 for a surgery to do so with cash or debit is extremely silly. That's on top of the fact that their costs are already above that of the average vet. I've already scheduled an appointment, but that one will be my last.

I have been taking my dog to see Dr. Carlson for a year. She had T Zone lymphoma which is not curable. I didn’t want to put her thru chemo to give her possibly a few months longer. I wanted to do something more holistic. He was beyond fabulous with her and the staff is amazing. We almost got a year after being diagnosed. (Which is amazing in its self.) We had to let her go see the rainbow bridge this Saturday and the whole experience was as beautiful as it could be. They gave me as much time as I needed to say good bye to my soul companion. I chose the premium package and received a phone call later that day from the Forever Friends, Pet Cremation and they were also amazing. I got to choose between a forever urn or a biodegradable, what the plate would say and choose the font.

We just love everyone at Lifetime Pet Wellness. They've been our veterinary clinic for well over 10 years through many cats and dogs. And even though it's a little bit of a drive, we don't mind going the distance for the excellent care. Every single veterinarian and team member has shown each of our animals the care they would give their own pets. We also enjoy the alternative options and holistic approaches that are not offered by most other vet clinics.

I have visited half the vet hospitals in Columbus before finding Lifetime Pet Wellness Center and it’s the best! I love the mix of state of the art treatments like cold laser treatments to improve healing, and the ancient art of acupuncture and Chinese herbs. Both methods have helped my dogs over the years and allowed me to provide them with the best vet care. I know more than the average pet owner having worked in a vet hospital, and the vets here know and respect that and never talk down to me as many other vets have done in the past. This practice was great for my reactive dog, getting us into a room quickly and being able to pay in the room is great- allowing us to avoid other dogs- which stressed her out. The hospital is always calm And running smoothly and is so much less stressful that the hospital we used to go to near home- to be Frank the reception area at our former vet was like a three ring circus and always set my girl off to a barking frenzy. I love everything about Lifetime Pet Wellness Center and recommend it to all my friends. I just wish it was closer to home. I live in Gahanna- but it’s well worth the drive! 5 stars from me and my crew!

Thor received chiropractic care and stayed calm through the entire procedure, and the staff was absolutely incredible—so kind to both of us! They handled him with such gentle care the whole time. We’ll be back in two weeks…I think we’ve found the perfect match!

I have been going to this practice for approximately 11 years and I highly recommend it. Dr Laughman and Dr. Carlson are great! This practice does not push unnecessary tests and treatments, etc. I also believe that both of these doctors never try to cover up symptoms in an animal and they will always try their very best to get to the root cause of all health issues.

My experience at Lifetime is very mixed. We saw Dr. Laughman and she was wonderful. We also briefly saw Dr. Carlson and Dr. Tribuzzo for emergencies/a last minute appointment for a sick stray we found. We liked all three vets. In particular Dr. Laughman put together a wonderful end of life treatment plan for my dog with cancer that kept his quality of life high for longer than we expected including accupuncture, chinese medicine, and PEMF. She was also managing my cat's hyperthyroidism and early kidney disease. The technicians we worked with were also good and handled our animals with care (our one cat is not the greatest patient). My issue is with their front office and their communication on their policies. We were regularly not informed or misinformed of the recheck schedule we were expected to keep, which was frustrating. With our cat needing constant rechecks while they tweaked his medicine we would find that they would refuse to refill medication on the schedule discussed at our appointments and we would be scrambling to make recheck appointments before our medication ran out (Dr. Laughman is not there daily so she's sometimes weeks out for scheduling) or we would be arguing with front office staff to check with the doctor to confirm that it was time for a recheck. A few times they just failed to call in our prescription and we would have to push rechecks back while we waited for them to get organized enough to call in prescriptions. During this time our cat would begin vomiting and lose weight. Now I'm being informed that even though our cat saw a vet less than 4 1/2 months ago (Mid-July) and for a blood recheck less than 3 months ago (September) they would not refill his medication and we would need to come in for our 6 month blood recheck before we even hit the 4 month mark (we have no refills with medication to last through Mid-December). All because they scheduled a tech appointment instead of a vet appointment for his last blood recheck (they determined if it was going to be a tech or vet appointment). We're again left wondering what policies we're missing, what timelines aren't being communicated, and why they insist on bringing us in more frequently than we discuss with the vets. When I called to try and sort it out Courtney was rude, told me she was management and part of the medical team and would not allow me to speak with a vet to confirm timeline or treatment plan. She told me that their policy was all senior cats had to see a vet every 6 months and because they had been scheduling us with technicians they would need to schedule us with a vet before the 6 month mark. We never made the decision on if we were going to a tech or vet appointment, that was always directed by their staff based on their timing and internal notes. We just saw a vet (Dr. Tribuzzo) in July who did a comprehensive workup on the cat that needs medicine. We were more than willing to see a vet every 6 months, but we told by their staff if we needed a tech or vet appointment each time we scheduled. We can no longer sit and wonder if we're going to get the appropriate number of refills for medication, if we're going to be running out last minute because their office staff can't be bothered to call in our refills, etc. I absolutely hate moving away from Dr. Laughman, but if we can't even get the medications to properly treat our animals as prescribed it doesn't matter how great their vets are - our animals will end up not receiving the medical treatments they need. If they were able to get their office staff together and organized we would have all of our veterinary needs for our small animals managed by them. After a year and a half of working with them and constant issues with medication it's clear that's not something they are able to doat this time.
