Dr. Paul H. Knapp

When I was 14 years old my dad bought a Doberman and he did some research and found Dr. John Knapp was an expert in this breed. Over the years, and two Dobermans, we saw Dr.John Knapp and eventually his son Dr. Paul Knapp (in the original building). When I became an adult, I too took my dogs to Dr. Paul for care. When my husband and I moved to Indianapolis we would schedule Saturday Vet appointments with Dr. Paul to align with our family visits in Columbus. Over the last many years we’ve taken our beloved dogs to Dr. Robert Knapp. Dr. Knapp has journeyed with us through entire lifespans of dogs and has helped us through difficult decisions. My husband and I live on the Franklin Co/Delaware Co line and drive past numerous Veterinarians to get to Knapp Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Robert has continued the tradition of practicing outstanding medical care. We’ve occasionally seen other Veterinarians in the office and they to are outstanding in the Knapp tradition as well. If you take your pets to this office they will be well cared for.

Easy to get to, staff was helpful and friendly Dr. Knapp was friendly and very knowledgeable and not Ina hurry

This is my favorite vet hospital. I have been going here many years and have always got the best care for my pets.

One of the most concerned doctors I have ever taken an animal to. He went out of his way even on a Sunday to call me to update me on my cat. This was his day off and he took 5 to 10 minutes to call me and tell me that made me feel better. I would recommend him to anyone if they want your animal really really taken care of!

I just returned from my visit with Dr. Knapp's office and couldn't be happier. Because of COVID, I was unable to enter the office with my pup. This was hard for me since it was her first vet visit to this office. They called and kept me informed of everything they were doing and even took the time to talk about any questions or concerns I had with her or her development. I will definitely be back to their office for her follow up booster shots and other pup needs.

I had an emergency and was able to get my dog in the same day. From the front desk to the private exam room, everyone was caring and professional.

I really love Dr Knapp- he sees my fur babies, but the vet tech Ellie is extremely unprofessional- thinking of leaving😢
