Columbus Humane Essential Care Center

Brought my cat mocha for a dental cleaning and tooth removal, and my cat caramel for an eye exam, also for their annual shots and check up. So grateful to have found this place. Their prices are very affordable. And their customer service is excellent. I would highly recommend them.

Went there for their Friday morning vet walk-ins. If you plan to do this, bring plenty of entertainment for your pet because it takes about 3 hours to be seen, BUT is the best price in the city for vaccines, etc. I had a 10-week old kitten, already scheduled my next appointment in about a month to get him neutered and microchipped and all that fun stuff. Friendly staff, nice place!

Nice facility and friendly staff, walk in appointments FCFS sometimes line could be long but worth the wait much cheaper than most of vet places I have ever been to. They even give out free bags of treats at the time.

First time experience with them and I can't say one bad thing! Top notch organization. Had a new addition to our family neutered and immunized with a couple other add-ons. Super friendly, super easy to schedule with. Every visit including follow-ups was on time and the staff always seem to go above and beyond answer my questions and care for my pet. Switching all my animals over from Banfield with PetSmart. (Staff at Banfield is nice but prices are unreasonable and always way outside what I can afford).

my dog's surgery was only $300 verses two other veterinarian offices who wanted 1200. they even gave me free blood testing, flea and tick and medicine after surgery. always nice always pleasant. probably the most affordable place in Columbus. downside is it's very difficult to tell when walk-in days are I've been there twice and been turned away because it was some special surgery day or whatever and it's not like you can call them and ask them can I come in today because they don't really answer the phone

We are so so thankful for how Columbus Humane cares for our babies. When times are hard it is so nice to have this service available. It is worth the waittime for the annuals they offer, they even gave my baby little treats and a toy. Couldn't ask for more.

My sweet angel has extreme social anxiety and the staff was more then helpful. They got us into a room immediately and even let me go with him into the back to sit with him for a little bit before surgery. The staff also helped me carry my baby to my car when I picked him up. I also had a cat spayed here and the process and recovery all went great! The only thing I can tell that needs work is the process of scheduling, it is pretty confusing and appointments seen hard to come by but when you see how many wonderful pets they help everyday I would rather go here then anywhere else ❤️
