Griffin Animal Hospital

Griffin animal hospital is the best veterinary i’ve been to. On a friday night with no hope to get into a vet the next day i put in a request to be seen asap. the next morning they called me and told me to come in. i was so thankful that they fit me in on their busy weekend schedule. when i got there they explained to me my cats disease process and i was devastated. they told me there’s still hope and that he may be able to survive. we fought for my kitty for a couple weeks they helped me emotionally and their prices are affordable for the care i needed. unfortunately my kitty cat passed but i am still so thankful for Dr Griffin and the support she provided for me. I felt like I was more than just another customer. I would recommend her practice to anyone who asks and if I ever get another fuzzy friend I know what vet I’ll be taking them to! Thank you so much to the whole team!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience here. My dog has been boarded at this facility 4–5 times since I moved here in July, and up until now, I trusted their care. However, during this last visit, he was given two different anxiety medications without my knowledge. I only found out after the fact when I received the receipt by email. What makes this worse is that I had just expressed concern with his sensitive stomach during his last vet visit less than a week ago. Giving him unnecessary medication without informing me directly "because he could have had a heartache….." When I asked about the situation, Dr. Griffin explained that it was because my dog was barking in his cage. That is not an anxiety disorder.. he is a dog, and a mini schnauzer at that. Barking when he doesn’t want to do something is normal behavior, not a condition that requires medication. Since July, I’ve spent close to $1,000 here, and I expected better communication and transparency. Unfortunately, after this incident, I can no longer trust this clinic integrity, and he will not be coming back.

There is no other vet practice that cares more for its patients than Dr. Griffin and her staff. They care for the pets as if they were their own. Dr. Griffin has worked absolute miracles for my dog Ruby; fixing her chronic skin issues that 3 other vets couldn’t, managing her fear aggression with compassion, and even stayed until 8pm to make sure Ruby’s dental surgery was a success. Not to mention calling me multiple times to keep me updated because she knew how anxious I was about surgery. After contacting Dr. Griffin for a follow up for my other dog, Morris, who I had taken to the emergency vet one weekend for seizures, she insisted that in the future I call her cell phone. She is genuinely one of the most caring people I have ever met. I 110% recommend Dr. Griffin and her staff (especially Kristin!) I am forever grateful to them for how well they’ve cared for my dogs.

I will start off by saying that this vet was Incredible!!!! A stray dog came into our yard and attached itself to our family. After unsuccessfully trying to find its owners, we contacted this vet. Amazingly, they had an opening which they got us into. The poor dog has some pretty serious medical issues. Dr. Griffin was very compassionate and caring, taking time to explain everything that it would need. The facility was spotless and didn’t even smell like a typical veterinarian’s office. Unfortunately, we were unable to keep the doggie but I would bring my pet here in a heartbeat. From the receptionist to the techs to Dr. Griffin herself……they were the best, hands (or paws) down!!!!!

I am so, so grateful a friend recommended Griffin Animal Hospital. I use them for everything: normal vet appointments, "emergencies", and boarding, and I have always had the BEST experience. Dr. Griffin is the best - she's knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and caring. She has even called me herself to give me updates on my boy while boarding. Genise is the sweetest, makes me feel so comfortable, and always makes sure Bodie is well taken care of. My Australian Shepherd has had epilepsy since he was a puppy, and they went out of their way to give me a great referral and always make sure his needs (medicine 3x a day) are accommodated when boarding. It's safe to say, I HIGHLY recommend using them for your pet's needs 🙂 I've recommended friends here and they all love them too. I have been to many veterinarians because I moved a lot and I really love Dr. Callaghan. Everyone there is so helpful and welcoming. Even the waiting room is welcoming. Also the boarding area for kitties is adorable.

I would recommend Dr. Griffin and her staff to anyone looking for first rate veterinary care. Dr. Griffin has always demonstrated deep care and thoughtful diagnosis for our pets. It's clear she wants the best diagnosis and treatment for your furry family member. Her team was beyond wonderful in caring for our two dogs during their lives and assisting them across the Rainbow Bridge at their journey's end. My family will always be forever grateful to Dr. Griffin and her excellent team.
