CVETS!!! Can’t thank our normal veterinarian for recommending this place!! We drove 2.5 hrs from Asheville and would do it again if we had to! Care was top notch! We were so glad to be surrounded by board certified professionals to help with my own anxiety of having to leave my pup overnight! -Camille and her knowledge of everything with scheduling and had many answers to all my questions!! -Dr. Schick and her explaining the situation at hand, the surgery, and the recovery process in great detail and going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable about it all! -I didn't get the ladies name but if looking at the desk the one who sits on the left! Such a friendly personality which is great for dealing with stressed "pawrents" and money together!! 🙂 Thank you all!!

I brought my dog, Freya, in for xylitol ingestion and the staff was so quick to come get her to begin treatment. Dr. Perdue went over everything with me in detail, explained the treatment plan, and was kind and understanding. I received text updates about how she was doing and received a picture which put my mind at ease. Dr. Gregory kept me informed about Freya's lab work and her condition. She was kind and answered all of the questions I had. The nurses who took care of Freya are all so sweet and I felt comfortable knowing she was being loved on and taken care of. Dr. Perdue, Dr. Gregory, and any nurse/tech who helped take care of my girl, I appreciate you so much! I can't remember which nurse/tech helped me at discharge, but she was very sweet and went over all instructions in detail. Thank you to everyone who helped 💚 Everyone was kind, empathetic, and helpful. This was such a scary situation, but the staff put my mind at ease by keeping me informed every step of the way.

Dillon was attacked by another dog and the situation was dire. Thank goodness for CVETS. I want to thank the front desk team, the ER docs and finally Dr. Barillo and his team. Every step of the way ( and there were lots of steps) Dillon was treated with such great care. I attribute Dr. Barillo with saving his leg! After 6 weeks of daily care then surgery then after care, I felt like they never gave up on trying to get Dillon back to his normal, healthy self. I’m please to say he not only recovered but absolutely no limp. He really is back to my spunky little pup. Thank you again CVETS for all you do every day for our fur family.

Everyone I met from CVETS was so sweet and patient. Our dog had some issues with vomiting in the middle of the night, so we brought him in around 4:30am. We were seen very quickly, and the doctor assigned to us was communicative and clear about next steps and a potential diagnosis. Unfortunately, we did have to leave him for a 24-hour stay and missed him terribly. However, I loved how frequently they updated us on how he was doing and the results of his scans. They were also very transparent about all costs and provided an estimated range of what to expect based on the time he spent there. We even received a photo of him the next morning! I would recommend them to anyone — I felt like I could trust them 110% with our beloved dog. See the photo below of what they sent us!!

The whole process and experience with CVETS was great! My dog had to have surgery to repair his broken pelvis due to being run over and I was scared in the beginning but they were informative and helpful through the whole process. He had to stay for 3 nights and have surgery to have a plate screwed into his hip, it got pricey but it gave me peace of mind knowing they all genuinely cared for my little guy and were going to take great care of him. Can’t speak highly enough of all the employees there and Dr. Barillo. I live almost 2 hours away and will always return to them in emergencies.

We are incredibly grateful to the team at the emergency vet hospital, especially Dr. Lawler, for the care our dog Lady received. She developed a head tilt and new neurological symptoms, and the team moved quickly to evaluate her thoroughly. Within 24 hours of admission, Lady underwent an MRI, spinal tap, and nasal scope. Everything was coordinated under a single anesthesia event to minimize her stress and exposure. Dr. Lawler led the workup and communicated with us exceptionally well throughout the process. She even called while Lady was under anesthesia to explain the findings and discuss next steps so everything possible could be completed while Lady was asleep. That level of thoughtfulness and compassion meant a great deal to us. Lady was discharged home just 24 hours later with a clear plan moving forward. We truly appreciated the efficiency, communication, kindness, and high level of care from everyone involved.

Dr. Brown, Dr. Kennerly, and the onco and cardiology team are amazing. It makes me so happy to know they love Chalupa and to know she's comfortable and safe with them. And a big thank you to Suzy who always makes check in and out so smooth. The level of care and compassion from every person I come in contact with is unmatched
