Village Center Veterinary Care

Today was an extremely difficult day. Without going into specifics, I want to thank Village Center for taking exceptional care of my beloved pets. The heart with which this facility is run is unmatched. I specifically want to thank Tabor for her m&ms and ginger beer. I hadn’t eaten today when I came in and as a diabetic, my blood glucose was low. She took these items from her own lunch and offered them to me without hesitation. I’d like to thank Katrina for being a friendly face whenever I am in. I couldn’t have done today without your care and attention to my case, and your taste in stickers is exquisite. I appreciate Dr. Stewart-Bates for squeezing us in yesterday and for his thorough attention to what was ailing one of my puppies. Thank you, Dr. Pierce, for giving direct, yet compassionate, news on one of the hardest days of my life and in my breeding career. And my immense gratitude to everyone else who keeps the gears grinding behind the scenes Working with animals is equally rewarding, and heartbreaking. It is easy to compartmentalize and move forward through your day and harder to stop to experience genuine concern and sadness for what you are witnessing. I want to say thank you for the individual experience and care I have every time I walk through your doors. My dogs and I have always been treated as a friend when we are there.

Village Center Vet Care is fantastic! Not only was Dr. Pierce super thoughtful and thorough, but it is clear that she is great with animals. I appreciate her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail while being willing to explain what is required for my dog's needs and future health. Also, the staff are friendly and the price was great!

My French Bulldog, Frankie, recently started exhibiting signs of pain. She was refusing to walk, wincing, and whining. I called on a Saturday morning to express my concerns about her situation. Despite having appointments scheduled back-to-back all day, Dr. Pierce fit Frankie into her busy schedule. I was overly impressed with her compassion, professionalism, and knowledge. While most vets would recommend x-rays just to put a few dollars in their pocket, Dr. Pierce didn't deem them necessary at that point. She prescribed Frankie 3 types of medication, and she was given a laser treatment. Having a pet that is in distress in extremely stressful, but I am confident that Frankie was in the best hands possible. Additionally, I had a follow-up question about Frankie's treatment. Dr. Pierce called me outside of business hours to discuss this with me. I will definitely be back the next time an issue arises with either of my dogs. Village Center is a model example of how vet clinics should be run! 🙂

This vet office has been absolutely wonderful with my French bulldog mix, Frank. I’ve had both of his cherry eyes repaired here and Frank healed up quickly and amazingly! He loves everyone there, and I’m truly happy I’ve found an amazing office to bring him to. I would like to specifically name Dr.Pierce and Justin, for going above and beyond in everything that they do. Finding a vet you can trust is extremely hard and I’m here to tell you that you can trust them with your babies! 10/10 recommend !

Absolutely wonderful staff! I had a very sick kitty. When I called they said they were booked. When I told them I didn’t think my cat would make it through the night, they put me on hold and told me they could squeeze me in around 10:30. I live an hour and a half away (everywhere close to me was booked up too) and barely made it by 10:30. The staff was so kind. The doctor came in and saw my kitty and told me what I already knew. I did everything I could for her. There was nothing more I could do. The doctor (Dr. Pierce) was so nice and caring and sympathetic. They explained the steps of euthanasia and I was able to pick out an urn for her ashes. I was able to be there as they put her down. And they let me grieve in peace for awhile. The clinic was so quiet and peaceful. If I lived closer, this would be my home clinic for my pets.

I have been with village veterinary care for six years. They were recommended to me by a dog breeder for providing excellent, affordable, and practical care. I have lived all over the United States and had dogs and horses my entire life, This is one of the best veterinary centers I’ve ever been to. Around Christmas, my dogs got a cough and I called to schedule an appointment and they scheduled an appointment but also said unless he gets worse wait a week, he will probably clear up. They were correct and I was able to cancel my appointment then my older dog got sick and she did get worse so I called and got a same-day appointment. We were out in less than 20 minutes, very affordably with the medicine we needed in hand. Their office is clean. Their staff is kind and knowledgeable, especially their vets and their front desk people. Thank you, Village veterinary chair for taking such a good care of my dog family.

We have been bringing our dogs here since Covid when our then vet refused to allow even one person to accompany our petrified dog, requiring our flight-risk dog to be handed off in the parking lot on a busy street. VCV permitted one person with a mask and we haven’t looked back! Great team, caring staff, and Dr. Pierce is awesome. They don’t try to talk you into things you don’t need and have even told me I didn’t need to do things I brought up. Love them!!!
