Took my Kardi in for 3 year checkup. She decided to poop as soon as we arrived in the office. The front desk personnel cleaned up her mess right away. I was embarrassed but they reassured me that it happens often. The vet was super kind and knowledgeable. My girl received shots and a clean bill of health. The office messaged me the next day to make sure my baby girl was doing well. I really appreciated the kind gesture. I love this office so much!

1st time taking in our 6yr old bearded dragon here and the staff was excellent. I had concerns on stuck shed which they helped with and told me how to care for. The biggest surprise of all was finding out our male beardie is a girl beardie! The vet took time to answer my questions and concerns and I will definitely be going back for dragon care. It's so hard to find an exotic pet vet in Colorado Springs and I'm glad we have one to go to now.

I brought my bearded dragon to Pikes Peak Veterinary Clinic a couple weeks ago when she experienced a medical emergency. I was not an established client but they were able to squeeze us in for an appointment same day. Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to my beardie at that appointment, and everyone at the clinic was so incredibly kind and helpful. I so appreciate their willingness to see me so quickly and save me the headache of locating an emergency clinic. Today, I received a sympathy card in the mail from them, signed by the staff, which was so sweet and unexpected. So grateful to them for the care and consideration they showed in caring for my beardie, and giving her a peaceful goodbye. I was not a client but PPVC gained me as one. Will definitely be taking my other pets there in the future.

I had a situation the other day, thought my dog had a chewy bone stuck in his throat, called 10 different places could not get anyone to help me the ER wanted $180 just to look I finally came across ppvc wow they had me bring my dog in immediately they checked him thoroughly saw nothing in his throat and then sent me on my way with no bill! by the end of that day they had become my regular vet. these people are amazing and they give the kind of care that you do not get hardly anywhere these days! I would recommend them to anybody!!! and everybody! they won my respect right from the 1st phone call! that's my baby!

Dr. Lay and the entire team, especially Tammy and Mary, are always pleasant to work with. We’ve been bringing our dogs here for four years and have consistently had a great experience. Their prices are reasonable, and every situation that has come up has been handled with care and thoughtful options. Highly recommend this vet to anyone in the Colorado Springs area.

Cannot seam to fill prescriptions on time and charge double what other places charge. Cannot seem to be able to get appropriate paperwork to you in a timely manner to be submitted to insurance. Had to involve practice manager more than once for this issue. Some of their vets are very good but I saw a certain provider there who kept suggesting causes for my pets condition that would be literally impossible. When I asked not to be scheduled with that provider again I was berated by a vet tech and told to go elsewhere. In what world can you not have a say about who operates on your service dog? In short, management and client services are horrible. I will miss my regular vet but good riddance to a poorly ran practice.

The staff here are so caring and positive. They clearly all love animals and treat them with such love and care. The vet and techs are very communicative and provide full information to allow me informed personal choice, never pushing in any direction. My dog went in for a dental cleaning and it was an amazing experience. The discharge paperwork was so thorough; it included the before and after pictures of the dental procedure, x-rays, and instructions. The bound packet itself was in a PPVC bag with dental chew samples and a toothbrush and recommendations for other dental chews. They also included the funniest picture I’ve ever seen of my dog on the packet cover and I’ve been laughing at it for a week straight. Super happy to trust my pets with them anytime.
