I took my dog in for the very first time on 11/28/25, because a family friend recommended them. I was met with nothing but exceptional kindness and professionalism every step of the way! ❤️ I was in a little bit of a panic upon arrival because my miniature dachshund is a very sensitive creature (she has allergies to vaccines, her stomach upsets easily, she randomly throws up,etc.) & she recently was spayed, but there were a couple complications… and my mind was convinced that her incision was infected, or something even worse. Thank the universe it was just a UTI 😅 and what they charged for the services provided was pretty reasonable! I was nervous that the bill might be outrageous, but I was pleasantly surprised that wasn’t the case. The receptionist was very nice as well, and even knows you & your animal’s name without asking you upon arrival! If I’m not mistaken, the vet tech who assisted us was Lindsey & the vet was Dr. Cole. They’re both amazing at what they do and were all smiles! You could tell that they love their job and genuinely want to help animals. They treated my baby girl with such love and care, which means everything to me as a dog owner. Anywho, I can’t say enough good things about Banfield Animal Hospital 👌🏼 highly recommend them! It was definitely worth the drive from Pueblo.

10/10 recommend! Banfield is a hidden gem I found! Everyone was so caring and sweet! Paige is absolutely the best and will treat your dog like her own! My dog Nala has a tumor that was cut open and they bandaged her up so perfectly and even cut a N for her to rock around! Definitely coming back as they offer a monthly pet care subscription that I highly recommend! Peace of mind to know your fur baby is covered on basic needs and care!

We had an excellent experience today with RVT Tanya. She got us in quickly and she is always very patient with my fur baby Mary who has anxiety at the veterinarian’s office. Tanya took her blood and trimmed her nails and got us out in a quick and easy time. Mary is not usually good with anyone but me but she is comfortable with Tanya which makes it easier to bring her to the office to be seen.

Dr scalaris (i probably misspelled it) is amazing, most caring vet i have met out here, he went above and beyond for my animals, did 3 surgeries for my 3 pups, they all did amazing and healed great. I thought one of my dogs had pannis since my last vet was 100% certain he did, told me I could give him eye drops but he'd still go blind, after seeing Scalaris one time he was able to tell me that was not what it was and what he had was easily fixable with surgery. He did the entropion surgery and now my baby boy can see again, I will be recommending him to anyone who has concerns with their fur babies. Absolutely an amazing place with an amazing team. Edit to add, my dogs are nervous around new people and especially vets, they absolutely love everyone there, they get tons of love and go right to any of the workers there like they've known them forever, I know they treat my babies with love and affection and I am so grateful for that.

I have been with Banfield for over 6 years. Frustrations here and there exist but overall I trust this place with the care of all my pets. I would like to give a special thank you to the front desk staff and the vet techs. But in this review I am highlighting Dr. Sklar. He is an absolute pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you for taking care of my fur-family!

I took my shepherd in to be diagnosed and was met with caring and helpful staff. Dr Christine was able to determine the issue quickly and treated both my dog and I with compassion. A bit on the higher priced side, but you get what you pay for.

I am extremely frustrated with the billing practices regarding the Banfield Optimum Wellness Plan. In September 2025, I formally requested a downgrade of my pet’s plan to a lower tier. Despite being assured it would be handled, I have continued to be charged at the higher rate for five consecutive months. When you sign up, they tell you the plan is flexible, but trying to change it is a nightmare. It feels like they intentionally ignore downgrade requests to keep collecting higher monthly fees. The local clinics tell you to call corporate, and corporate fails to process the changes. If you are considering a Wellness Plan, be warned: they make it incredibly easy to take your money but nearly impossible to adjust your coverage or fix billing errors. I am still waiting for a refund for the overcharges since September. Do yourself a favor and look for an independent vet with transparent pricing instead of getting locked into these rigid, poorly managed corporate contracts.
