Texas A&M Large Animal Teaching Hospital

I am so grateful for this hospital our baby Oscar, which is a piglet got into a chemical yesterday and was throwing up and having like seizures we called almost every emergency 24 hour hospital for animals and none took pigs. We were running out of hope but then we called this hospital and were told they could help us we live in Houston so it was an hour and a half away the moment we got there they knew that it was us and ran to the rescue. They weren’t even worried about paperwork yet they took our baby into care and started taking care of him. they gave us peace of mind. We were so worried about our Oscar. He stayed overnight in the Nicu. He is feeling 100% better because of them and they care that they have for animals

Dr. Griffin and his vet school team were excellent, providing top care for my three year old warmblood filly and her first dental visit. They treated her with such care, knowledge, and compassion that made her instantly trust them. She is usually is reserved with new people! They took time to explain to me, a first time owner, the procedure, what they are doing each step, and next steps. Their prices were fair and was timely service with the horse farm visit. I highly recommend them!

Our Frenchie was in severe distress Sunday . He had herniated a disc and his rear legs were paralyzed Texas A&M Veterinary told Our Vet AP would be treated Sunday. .We drove 3 hours to College station and arrived at Emergency at 02:30 pm Sunday. Exam wasn’t done until 05:30pm Sunday. Surgery wasn’t done until the following day at 07pm Monday . AP developed myelomalacia and died 3 days later. Texas A&M Small Animal is an Emergency Hospital known for specialized , advanced and complex care. Sadly, this was not our experience.

A&M is stellar. We raise goats, and its really difficult to find a "goat vet." Everyone in my area sees dogs, cats, horses, cows, sheep..... but not goats. Those Aggie vets see just about everything!! At first, we didn't know what was causing the loss of motor control in her back legs, but after a thorough review, xrays, and bloodwork, they discovered a compression fracture in her spine. I left relieved... We had an answer and a plan. My baby goat will receive her little cart next week, and shell be zooming around the house in no time. Thank you, A&M!!

I couldn't have asked for better care for my horse and the prices for the amount of time that she spent in iCU were very reasonable given she got such one-on- One care. I'll continue to use them for all my large animals

The staff at A&M Large Animal Hospital saved my horse's life! I am so incredibly grateful and can not thank them enough. Everyone was so kind and helpful from the front desk to the amazing doctors and staff in ICU. Thank you for all you did for Addy!

What an amazing experience at this hospital! Dr. Glass and Fran were amazing support and helped care for my warm blood who had gone lane. Thanks to A&M for allowing this facility to operate!
